Find out how long you can survive as a traitor in Helldivers 2 in this intense gaming video. Can you outsmart your opponents and come out on top? Watch to find out!
Oh no my orbitals are out what do I do steps a foot out alright if I do the strat this guy just did I can theoretically destroy the whole map with a forever lasting orbital barrage
Once i had a poorly chosen set of strategems. We were pushed to the edge by bots. Since everything was on cooldown and low to no ammo, and i was certainly going to die, i dove out to gather my "fifth strategem". In came the barrage as i did my best to run beyween hulks, devestators, and rocketeers. The carnage was immense. I weeved, dodged, and zipped through the ranks of enemies, causing me to change directions avoiding gunfire AND the orbitals. A few times i was launched back into orbit, but i survived long enough for my teammates to die laughing instead of gunfire.
When the first bomb hits, change direction by 90 degrees. Then when the next bomb hits change direction again... I did this during an elimination and was able to zig zag through the map.
100 % agree, 90 degree turns are the way to go. I tested it out when I joined a Defense mission that was bugged. I know it's not the biggest maps, but I ran from the edge to the extract without getting hit.
Looking at when the strikes happen relative to the timer, they seem to start just a little before the timer hits 5, and continue to land almost exactly every two seconds. A bit of math with that gives us that, in your longest attempt, they used 155 orbital strikes for the sole purpose of killing you, plus however many went off after you died. I don't know how much a single orbital strike costs, but I can't imagine the superiors are going to be happy about that one.
One of the NPCs in game says a single stratagem costs more than a year of a civilian family's salary. Probably why budgetary constraints dictated that colonist dwelling units had their temperature dropped by 13 degrees.
Surviving the barrage is a lot easier once you realize it's always going to hit in front of whatever direction you're running in. Once you stop it drops on you. But if you're running it's going to land in front of you. So run in a straight line then after a few seconds change direction
@@ForsakenFritos you should also litter the bunker with personal shield packs, if your current personal shield gets depleted, pick up a new one and it is at 100% immediately again.
Not sure if you'll see this comment because it's been 4 weeks, but... The traitor barrage is actually aimed in the direction you are travelling. Running constantly and changing directions every 2 hits is an effective way to avoid ever being hit, but some things such as terrain or enemy forces may make this a little more difficult. Light explosive resist armor is pretty good for this. As long as you are moving, the odds of getting hit head-on with the traitor barrage are low and the rest of the explosive damage can be reduced to survivable levels. Because the shots are aimed in the direction you are travelling, you can effectively aim the traitor barrage at larger opponents if you manage to get the distance and timing correct - although i imagine this will be rather difficult.
Of course Super Earth has an unlimited budget to eliminate a traitor. There's nothing that rich people hate more than a traitor, or people beneath them. xD
I'd suggest trying this with the heavy explo resist armor. It should allow you to eat plenty of orbitals, since it reduces the damage via armor and then 50% on top. It's so strong that you can walk directly on mines and still survive. I'd also bring a resupply pack so that you can have even more stims than with the resupply.
Did you know, they fire with the orbital at a certain distance infront of you at a certain time, so as long as you switch directions every time you hear an explosion, you should survive.
you should do this with the mech glitch to see if maybe having the door closed would help with better protection. The mech glitch is where you get a mech and back it up right to the door, then back out of the mech and it'll force you into the bunker without you having to open it
Love how they have infinite 380s to throw at one person considered a "traitor" for 10 seconds, but oh no, my 380 call in has a long ass timer between each one 😑 😂
i seen on another video that you coulc zig zag and change your direction 90 degrees at every impact and aslong as you dont get slowed down by terrain, enemies or ragdolls you can survie very long maybe give it a try
I read the title and feared the worst; that you were committing treason by friendly firing your teammates. This is a much better result
LOL!
Haha thank you for watching! I had a blast getting ragdolled by the bombardment (pun intended)
This is what I was hoping
I thought it was gonna be some chaosdiver stuff
Fighting enemies: oh your orbitals have cooldowns.
One foot outside the map: We will continuously send lead and explosives till you die! Traitor

your tales of heroism are inspiring helldiver o7
this is how the civilians on automaton planets felt when they first arrived
I bet hahaha!

Also I think the bombs come down based on facing...

Ohhh that's cool! I'll have to give that a try

I love that u did the math to find that number haha

I'm surprised you can still call down stratagems when marked a traitor.
I was too honestly
Same especially when I'm calling things to prevent them from killing me
@@ForsakenFritosif someone else can call down the shuttle could you complete a full round marked as a traitor
Throughly surprised that being a traitor is surprisingly really wholesome with the right buddy

Does that mean you can just run in a tight circle forever and flex on the super destroyer?
If you had 4 guys, health suit, enhanced drugs. Could you cycle between 4 shields continuously? Both the big and personal shield.
I think that is the next video :)
Yee thats the next vid I'm gonna do, with some added hijinks naturally

10:11 The shield generator pack recharges regardless if you are wearing it or not, this is also true for the jetpack.
I laughed so hard 🤣 that was great. Then you got me with what's your favorite vegetable and why? 😅
How long could you outrun them, with Stamina Enhancement, Light Armor, and Jetpack?
It's cool you can see the bottom of the stratagems under the ground.

bro I was named a traitor close to extraction and somehow I managed to extract safe n sound
Dude that is awesome. Great job! 💚
Did you know, they fire with the orbital at a certain distance infront of you at a certain time, so as long as you switch directions every time you hear an explosion, you should survive.
Of course, if you are standing still they fire directly at you.
The orbital barrage has a pattern, just turn 45 degrees every so often
you had me in the first half ngl

I once abused this and destroyed a heavy automaton outpost by just passing through it😂
they really depleted the whole super earth budget just to kill these traitors💀💀💀

I was on a map with canyons - they pretty much cover u from Barrage if you find the spot where walls completely cover u.
4 guys traitor same time!!!
I gotchu 👍
PLZ!!!!
I Need it
@@ForsakenFritosfour guys traitors the whole round managing to complete it and extract?
Ah, the Traitor's Gambit
Since I may or may not have been hunting for super credits, I can tell you that you can get up to three bunker spawns on difficulty 1 at Hellmire.
This is so epic and funny asf.. thanks a lot for democracy 😅
o7
This is weird.
The traitor's status goes off after a few seconds of you coming back to the map.
I can't believe i found someone else who calls the bunkers friendship doors
if you just keep moving, you can solo those eradication 15 min missions, I can confirm that
bro you should have always got stims from the supplys
This is one of the videos ever
Before I thought you can use that barrage to kill off enemis on eradication mission
basicly ww2 poland expierience
I remember in the past i managed to run off the map, the shots were too inaccurate
someone did a video on this. if you turn 90* each hit you can last for longer with out a bunker..
Does potato count as one if so potatoes
I'll allow it simply because potatos grow from more potatoes and thats based af
I think a Potato should be safe haha
Please do more this was awesome and I don’t like cabbage sorry
I love this laughing its ok you don't have to like cabbage friendo
Absolutely, and thats ok all vegetables are welcome
