All it is, is government payouts and fema money. It will go back to what it looked liked in the 90s in no time. You can already see the trash building up. Just how they like it.
@@elpuma92drugs and crimes follow places with little to no opportunity and education. Same happens in white southern communities. If people were given the proper resources to reach a better life then they’d grab it and go.
@@JonahAGoldstein I can somewhat agree with what you are saying, a lot of it unfortunately does boil down to generational curses/mentality. I personally think drug test are used as a gate keeping system to keep the boot on people’s neck. With all that being said one has to take responsibility for what they can control in their personal lives and come out of this victim mentality.
It’s an atrocity that they built these buildings the way they did and where they did it. Not even concrete foundations. It was just the shtiest possible warehousing for the destitute black population. I read that the local store would jack the prices on the day of the month the welfare checks would come in. Everything about the place was designed to keep the inhabitants right where they were.
All those houses but little opportunity to strive. Invest in low income neighborhoods. Drugs and crime have always followed places with barely any opportunity and education.
Neighborhood look better but it still got the hood mentality

Really interesting to see same streets in 80-90 and now, and compare it.

My Mom used to go to the Methadone Clinic in the Desire Projects. I remember being the only white boy there.

I see less housing and no factories nearby to employ. The country is still in trouble.

Someday society will have robots to do everything for us and everything will cost us nothing. Maybe?
