Hey man! Do you think you could make a video on how to trout fish on a boat? I have no idea how to find good spots on a boat and usually do terrible. I didn't do too good at the Loop this past weekend and wanted to try a boat. Just don't know how to fishem!

Great vids. New subscriber. Should I go ultra light fast action rod or ultra light medium action? And will a 2500 size reel work instead of 1000 size? Headed to Arrowhead in a week and Silver lake June lake loop in a month. Definitely going to try some jigs
there are two ways ( i found this out the hard way) You can park at north shore lot, pay the 10 dollars and have a small walk along the road/fence to avoid hiking. The other way is park at Chamber of Commerce lot which is free, but thats a heck of a hike to get down to where they were in the video.
Bro, you need to get there at 4 am. Bring some weders and an attitude because people on TH-cam think they own that spot 😂. When they stock(go online) they pass through that spot . Plus don't worry about all that fancy jig color talk. I use Wal Mart Berkeley atomics and do great! Good luck 👍

Well you don’t need a crazy expensive rod and reel to catch fish but definitely at least something in the middle help a lot . I hold nothing back though all my reels are top notch and all from Japan there quality smokes American. All my reels are shimano vanquish 1000 my rods are all custom but the one you see me use now is one we came out with for jigging called a katana great rods but they are made of the best parts so they cost four hundred each . Phenix rods a decent for sure just pair with a decent 1000 size reel and you should be good to go .
Hey Esteban, I was curious how long of a leader should I use? I’m using 3 lb braid but not sure how long of a leader is good? Also, do you use a double uni knot?
I live in LA. I want to take my Daughter bass or trout fishing. I took her to the Santa ana river lake already. She loved it! Any other place you recommend with in a 1hrs drive?
I’m not that familiar really with lakes in that area I stick to San Bernardino county lakes mostly. You should just make the drive one day to our mountain lakes definitely worth it

Did you hear about the virus that came up from a bird from Mexico and infected all of the hatcheries up in the sierra’s? It’s going to be tough getting trout into the sierra lakes this year now!!! They have been trying to wipe out the fisheries here in Cali for a while so I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t done on purpose. Urban outdoorsman posted a video about it today. On average how far can you cast your mini jigs? I hardly go past 5 feet when casting. Trying to launch it doesn’t seem to work

You need to use 2lb and a good ultralight rod with size 1000 reel
