Hi Dustin, at the beginning of the video, I see it's snowing. When did you take the video? I'm going to Zion on first week of november, do you think I'll find mud and snow? Thank you for the great video!
Hey! The video was shot in March. according to a quick search, here is what I found. It snows in November in Zion National Park occasionally. Zion sees about 0.3 days of snow during November. Snow in southern Utah is sparse, even in the winter months. However, you are more likely to encounter snow on high-elevation trails or along the Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel side of the park.
This trail is perfect to add to the Zion experience, will have to try it next time!
It's definitely worth swinging by! Just wait until you see the next 3 Zion videos. You are going to have a full trip worth of hikes to hit. :)
So pretty. Looked like a nice hike.
It's really pretty up there. You should try this one if you are out that way. There is some climbing involved but it's nothing too brutal.
This is so helpful as I look for family-friendly hikes!! What time of year did you do this hike?
I think it was the end of March? It's been a while and we visited Zion so often that everything seemed to blur together 😅😅
We are so glad that you enjoyed the video! We shot the video in March and we did encounter a light snow a couple times over the course of our visit.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Zion is pronounced like "lion." NOT like "try-on."
We actually heard it both ways. Talked to a few locals and park rangers.
I’m a Utah native and I say it the way you said it. I hate saying it like that.
