My Trip to the Buffalo Zoo!

Today we are at the Buffalo Zoo in Buffalo, NY. I love Zoos, but as far as Zoos go I cannot recommend this is a good Zoo. It's like the starter campaign Zoo that you need to fix up to make success on Zoo Tycoon. Don't go. But watch my video, cause I warned ya!
I'm NOT telling anyone to never go to this Zoo, I gave my opinion, and I encourage you to make a decision for yourself.

Listen, is this the worst Zoo in the world? No. But Zoos are an amazing way to humanely take care of animals and use them for teaching kids and adults how to live in a world together.
Small exhibits, lonely animals, and even improper setups of Zoos aren’t good for Zoo longevity.
Disagree with me? That’s fine. Check the Zoo out either way!

Love the video! The main problem with the zoo is funding and timeline for exhibits. You should visit the Cincinnati zoo or the Columbus zoo. Both are amazing!

Thanks! They are on my list for sure! I could spend an entire week in the Cincinnati area. And yeah I could see funding being the problem. It’s hard. Maybe I was too hard? But I was honest.

Yes, I saw that, so sorry that you no longer have the elephants. But it seems like that’s happening to a lot of zoos. I know it’s happening to the Philadelphia Zoo

I also feel like they made a mistake by not moving the zoo down to the waterfront and completely redoing everything and now it’s gonna take years to completely renovate the current zoo

Oh definitely that would’ve been great! And if it’s true the golf course was there first… why put it there at all?

Hey Dan I do want to make some clarifications about some of the animals. The lion is by himself for now because it is not breeding season and we have 2 other female lions with 4 cubs who were born last year
