    *For all my fellow Disney nuts out there! Question of the Episode:* What is your go to Disney attraction at rope drop? I was only officially introduced to Disney World last year but out of everything from all four parks, I immediately fell in love with the Haunted Mansion... Yes, even over anything at Animal Kingdom. I don't really care for horror of any kind, but I love how secluded the ride experience is - as if it was made for you and you only to enjoy. From now on, I'll make sure it's the first and last thing I do at Magic Kingdom.

    Kilimanjaro Safaris is that one ride I need to go on at least five times each time I go to Disney World, since unlike all other rides, it's always guaranteed to be different each time thanks to all the animals.

    Such great coverage. Lion-tailed macaques are so underrated. Any idea why there seems to be no interest in keeping them in AZA/US?

    • @LevKing13
      @LevKing13 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I believe that they are being phased out of AZA zoos.

    • @sahirdoshi5554
      @sahirdoshi5554 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@LevKing13 thanks! Phase out would be due to too few individuals/interest to keep a breeding population, right? Endangered species that does decently in captivity is a good phase-in, I’d wish :(

    • @cynogalebennetti4793
      @cynogalebennetti4793 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had heard they were being phased out because of biosecurity - most macaques are very susceptible to Simian Herpes-B virus, which can be fatal to humans if it jumps host. That is at least the reason I have heard why so many macaque species have been phased out.

    • @Discussr
      @Discussr 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @sahirdoshi5554 along with lower interest towards macaques in general in the AZA, hepatitis also caused a decent decline lowering individuals available to establish a population.

    Animal Kingdom is very cool, and it's a lot nicer than I remember from years back. Problem is it ain't worth the $110 admission. $110 is far more than most memberships at even some of the nicer zoos. To me $110 doesn't justify the few rides that exist in animal kingdom.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks from Walt Disney World! Say, visit the Woodland Park Zoo soon, Zak! Thus, the attraction that I want to target first is the Wild Africa Trek! And here are 4 zoo trivia questions for you & your girlfriend....
    1) How many years ago did the San Francisco Zoo originally house 2 South American Coatimundis at the Children's Zoo?
    2) Would you prefer Disney's Animal Kingdom to welcome binturongs in the Maharajah Jungle Trek?
    3) What are the names of the 2 rescued California Sea Lions that lived in the San Francisco Zoo before they both passed away?
    4) What year or month did the Los Angeles Zoo once housed wedge-tailed eagles?
    Honking Tuojiangosaurus!🐘

    The trek used to be home to six Bengal tigers who were the main focus up until the Sumatrans came. The Bengals reached the end of their lifespans and passed away between 2014-2018. While they were still around, the Bengals and Sumatrans rotated in and out of backstage holding and the two outdoor yards. So now the trek is home to exclusively Sumatrans which include Conrad the male and Sohni the female.

    Truly awesome tour as usual.
    It makes me really wish to visit disney land for the first time there, has been since I was a kid.
    If it’s possible for the park to have some space for a expansion i would love if the imagineers could set up a Australian theme section showcasing the wonderful evolutionary natural history that’s Australia with all sorts of unique wildlife.
    It would be cool if they have a cave tunnel where it showcases the Australian Dreamtimes of the past and acknowledging the extinct megafauna that onced lived thousands of years ago. And it would be important to highlights the dangers of invasive species and to protect native species from them which I’m sure floridans would sympathize on that Florida has its share of invasive species too.
    It would all be a lot better Australian theme Than some standard little walkabout section in other zoos lol
