Today we are at the Buffalo Zoo in Buffalo, NY. I love Zoos, but as far as Zoos go I cannot recommend this is a good Zoo. I also feel like they made a mistake by not moving the zoo down to the waterfront and completely redoing everything and now it’s gonna take years to completely renovate the current zoo

Love the video! The main problem with the zoo is funding and timeline for exhibits. You should visit the Cincinnati zoo or the Columbus zoo. Both are amazing!
Thanks! They are on my list for sure! I could spend an entire week in the Cincinnati area. And yeah I could see funding being the problem. It’s hard. Maybe I was too hard? But I was honest.

Too bad they cancelled the airborne drop on Saturday because of the winds. They did go do it on Sunday.
I know!! The weather wasn’t quite as nice though, I’m lucky to have gotten great footage last year if you wanted to see!
@@mrdingodanvlogs I was there the whole time so I saw the airborne drop. I'm one of the reenactors in the Pacific Theater. While the marines were having their flamethrower and Iwo Jima battle, we were acting out an "air raid" and shooting at the Japanese planes as they passed. Got a video of it. I love these vlogs videos because I can't move around freely and enjoy everything as much as the public. So I'm checking out other people's videos. Great job on this, what a great plug for the event!

Yes, I saw that, so sorry that you no longer have the elephants. But it seems like that’s happening to a lot of zoos. I know it’s happening to the Philadelphia Zoo
They are future plans to improve the gorilla exhibit making it outdoors

Hey Dan I do want to make some clarifications about some of the animals. The lion is by himself for now because it is not breeding season and we have 2 other female lions with 4 cubs who were born last year

Listen, is this the worst Zoo in the world? No. But Zoos are an amazing way to humanely take care of animals and use them for teaching kids and adults how to live in a world together. Small exhibits, lonely animals, and even improper setups of Zoos aren’t good for Zoo longevity. Disagree with me? That’s fine. Check the Zoo out either way!

Hi Dan, I'll have to try those, agree Flamin' Hot has been a bit of an overkill, putting it in everything. On a completely different topic, I have to say, I miss seeing your Lego Saturn V rocket. As a child of the Space Age, I was 8 when Neil walked on the moon, and his hometown Wapakoneta and his museum is about 20 miles north of me, I love the Saturn V. Perhaps at some point you could put it on display in the background?? Keep up the fun videos. John
