Hey Jason, please don't get tired of me saying this; you're the best teacher here on TH-cam. Love your style, you break every step down for ppl like me. Thanks alot💯👍
Revisited after 8months. This lesson is pure gold. If u don't know what to practice, take this. Move it around in circles of 5ths and 4ths (for the other keys) and it keeps you busy for a year :-)
Jason, you are one of the best piano teacher on the Internet. Thanks a lot for sharing your vast knowledge in such a profound, yet simple way. It is so helpful even for elderly people like myself.
Inspirational and approchable. You don't make me feel like i'm going to be marched down to the dungeon and be tortured for hitting a wrong note. Slip-ups are just part of the process. Thanks for being positive.
JASON you have been such a blessing for us beginners thanks very much. But the lyrics that displayed during your tutorial sometimes hide what we suppose to see. So it's a problem my brother.
Thank you Jason. You are such an excellent teacher in the way you break down all the parts of your instruction, the pace of your instruction and how you summarize and review the main points again at the end. I also really appreciated your comments about how mistakes, how it is most important to keep playing with the rhythm, focus on the music and the beauty of harmonies and the story-telling of the song.
You are the best teacher on TH-cam. After stumbling upon your video I have stopped watching any other video on piano lessons. You are my Guru and I pay my respects to you. If only I could join your school of music......
Thank you Jason, you are not only a music teacher but you are a gifted musician. I learnt from you how to engage physically with the notes and the piano.
Pretty good teaching method bro.... Really helps me alot, reviewed several times for my learning patterns.... Come up with more vdos, coz ur subscribers are always anticipating
Jason Z thank you very much. Most piano TH-camrs (if not all) try their best to show off how best they can play more than me a self learn piano player but you are the only one who try your best to teach me what you know and not what you can do. Bless you.
Well organized, demonstrated and explained. I thought I knew something about chords; turns out after listening and hearing you play, not as much as I thought! Thank you!
Beautifully shown and very clearly explained, I'm a keyboard player and always want to improve by your guidance and tips. So many of my secret discoveries matched with your explanation I had found while I keep playing. You have truly revealed the secret of "satisfaction transitions". Yes, make mistakes to "rediscover" your hidden talent and beat yourself to enjoy more while playing along with your musician friends !!
I have seen many tutorial videos in youtube however only you is teaching the complete techniques. Many thanks I discovered your channel now I am learning after so many years.
Sir ever since i hv found yr channel i m trying to lear as a todler of piano both hand player for church. I find somuch clarity in yr each lessons .Thank you so much
i like this lesson a lot. This is where I'm at when it comes to playing the piano. Lots of good advice from you. I use 7 chords, Bb, some diminished and augmented chords. And I'm looking for more. I would like to more about chords that can be played "between" these major and minor and other chords. I do embody music. You are such an amazing teacher!
Awesome. There are quite a few lessons on stuff like this and more coming up! Can you search for "Passing Chords", "Secondary Dominants" and "Slash Chords". You might find lessons which help you!
You are one of three tutorials I regularly check out, and what I especially like about your method of instruction, is the emotional quality along with the technical /mechanics that go straight to the point! Thank you , Jason. I'm curious about the display ( monitor) behind you as you play. How does that help you? Best Regards, Roberto
Thanks Robert. Good to hear! There is a lot of work which goes on into the display and notation view for our lessons. Perhaps I'll a video on that soon!
Jason I am blind. Therefore I can’t see what you are doing, but, you sound amazing and you are an awesome teach!! Thank you for the tips. Have one question... what are the notes you are playing for the broken Chords? Give one example. Pls name the notes... Hope I am clear
Merci for this. I like how everything you teach comes back to the circle of fifths/fourths. Totally unrelated but I learned the Sun Salutation about 50 years ago and have been doing it almost everyday especially for the last 25 years. Is there something in Indian musical philosophy related to the Sun Salutation? Or have you tied it into the Circle? BTW here in Switzerland there was a yoga teacher showing her students an extra move that I don't do that was causing every one of them back pain. The version I do is an octave. Despite having a major shoiulder problem, I'm able to do it despite the stresses put on the shoulder. I just have to concentrate on being stable.
This will be uploaded on our video courses portal Devidas. Unfortunately, I'm not able to play music through a TH-cam video. The video will get taken down very soon! Can you visit here: www.nathanielschool.com/members-videos
Most welcome Pritam. You need to check our entire playlist of Chord Inversions tutorials. I've explain step by step: th-cam.com/play/PLrNNL05e9FT9ygtrGwGFmfyvMyGWH52EC.html
So , Thanks for the instruction. I understand you perfectly. You explain piano theory very well. (And naturally). I always wanted to play an musical instrument . I pick the piano 🎹. I'm just beginning and not so fast learner with music theory, but I'll get it if I can make time to practice. They've said ,I'm a natural singer, love to sing. Alto, Sparano. ( Carol King, Steely dan, Queen, Beatles, many others. Take care . MH. That boy is a learner.
Hey Jason, please don't get tired of me saying this; you're the best teacher here on TH-cam. Love your style, you break every step down for ppl like me.
