    Revisited after 8months. This lesson is pure gold. If u don't know what to practice, take this. Move it around in circles of 5ths and 4ths (for the other keys) and it keeps you busy for a year :-)

    Thank you Jason. You are such an excellent teacher in the way you break down all the parts of your instruction, the pace of your instruction and how you summarize and review the main points again at the end. I also really appreciated your comments about how mistakes, how it is most important to keep playing with the rhythm, focus on the music and the beauty of harmonies and the story-telling of the song.

And I'm looking for more. I would like to more about chords that can be played "between" these major and minor and other chords. I do embody music. You are such an amazing teacher!

  • @lawrencetaylor4101
    @lawrencetaylor4101 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Merci for this. I like how everything you teach comes back to the circle of fifths/fourths. Totally unrelated but I learned the Sun Salutation about 50 years ago and have been doing it almost everyday especially for the last 25 years. Is there something in Indian musical philosophy related to the Sun Salutation? Or have you tied it into the Circle? BTW here in Switzerland there was a yoga teacher showing her students an extra move that I don't do that was causing every one of them back pain. The version I do is an octave. Despite having a major shoiulder problem, I'm able to do it despite the stresses put on the shoulder. I just have to concentrate on being stable.
