Hi what app you using I have a set I just bought and the app don't work at all only the scalextric old legacy app works for me and I tried many tablets and phones they all don't work with the latest app you can't set cars speed the car power turns on and off and the cars stutter and you can't even set a pace car or nothing? and the rest of the features when racing don't work only on the scalextric legacy app everything works power on and off settings for cars speed and cars slow down for rain and tire wear and for pit stops and stuff unlike the later app nothing works.
I hear you about sometimes not having anyone to race with. My wife wants nothing to do with it. I have the ARC Air as well, but I use the Magic APP instead. Everyone says it’s better. Also, on my channel when I race against the pace car, I don’t give it a lead. I have to stop for pit stops and the pace car does not. That makes for very close races. You are right. Slot cars have come a long way from years ago. Especially with digital tracks. Too expensive for me.

how does magic app work , do you have to buy a dongle so lap top receives blue tooth ?
Not sure. I use my tablet using Bluetooth.
