An interesting approach to 1/43 slot car tuning, I look forward to future installments!
Ahah, I tell this to avoid you wasting moneys, Carrera Go!!! aren't like other slotcars, they are thought to don't be modified.
Do you want to change the engine? You have to unweld the capacitor that grounds or, I don't even understood well, well, has a pin welded on the stator.
Wheels? Unremovable, are stick very hard on the axle, beard on bearings that are part of the chassis.
Everything is harder and harder than other hobby cars thought to let the player doing some DIY.
Also the magnet, it is strong to compress the strong braids that otherwise lift the car avoiding gripping.
Are incredible theese little bastards, they don't wanna be modified and run on tracks different from Carrera Go!!! , I trusted too much TH-cam.
Maybe is easier 3d printing your own design 1/43 car, if you have the same possibilities and knowledges of this guy.
I can't talk of SCX Compact, they're hardly available in Italy
Brilliant video Rob
Can’t wait to see it finished and how fast it goes. Round Crow Valley 👍
Neither can I Darren, I genuinely have no idea what to expect.
Thank you so much for covering 1/43 slot cars. Will be interesting to see what you come up with next
I like the 43rd cars 🤗 and 64th! I've got some very odd stuff coming in the pipeline 😉
@@SwiftSlots Bring it on. My scale of choice is 1/43.
This thing will really GO!!!
Wish I had the patience and time to do that to all my Carrera GO cars…
Goes even better now I have put NSR tyres on it, 25k motor and 3.2:1 gearing 😮
Here comes the tool n dye guy 😅😂😅😊
Zoom zoom zoom🎉gonna need an FAA license with that up grade 😅😂😅😊
Inspirational. I’m off ow to get a Fly Lola fixed and back on track.
Inspirational, that's the goal 🤗
I have a carrera go track I've put copper conductive tape on the rails so it can run ho cars also
Copper tape is good stuff 🙂
Only 88 likes? WTF? I recently spotted a short of a guy grinding a serious slotcar getting 9k views, people are strange.
Theese are also the best videos on TH-cam, videos teaching how to do DIY hobbies, I don't need a professor to buy or not a slotcar, I need a guy with a camera uploading shots of the slotcar, is thanks to TH-cam I bought a Carrera Go!!! car
ps: I know perfectly I won't never do something like that, but watching masters at work remains a good school
Thank you VERY much Mattiapresti, I am really glad somebody has finally noticed. I have been thinking exactly the same for a long time. You are the first person to finally put it into words. My algorithm shows I have 2 dislikes on this part 1. Thank you again.
That guy looks very crazy, I purposely don't clicked on the video, but as it is showed it starts playing in preview.
A slotcar, worth 40€ used leastly, sanded until disappearing on a sand paper belt.
Let's suppose that a video like that is monetized more.
And that car, probably a Courage LMP in 1/32, please, gift it to me instead hoping in money breeding
@@mattiapresti7295 It's sad that a video like that (I have seen it) gets more views than mine, but that's the odd world we live in!
However, the coolest thing to know how to do, especially with no special machines, is how to cut and substitute axles bearings, then maybe removing wheels.
Cutting the chassis maintaining the same precision of factory work, mmh, as many said tyres aren't a strong point of Carrera Go!!! , shows also brutally how Carrera Go!!! aren't meant to be disassembled, neither gear ratio I can't change without compromizing the car
I've got another 1/43 video coming very soon 🙂 Thanks.
