We can tell DDG was in fact a marine given how he disregards safety and just shoots shit when breaching and not aiming down his sights but still having good shots.
Reminds me of that "Rob Zombie" incident portrayed in Generation Kill.
Also a lot of his whining initially about the AI doing certain things was actually not their fault but HIS fault because he didn't use the right command prompts...

We got a full release of RoN before Tarkov. I almost can't believe it lol
Tarkov is a much larger and infinitely more complex game than RoN
@@RepublicOfWesternCanadaNOW, while true, this is also because Tarkov has been plagued with scope creep. If they just refined the systems they had in place, tweaked values with soft skills, and shored up their networking, we could have had a very fun, functioning extraction shooter that wasn't plagued with the addition of 5,000 attachments that are rarely, if ever used.
All of the other stuff and systems could have been gradually implemented over the life of the game, but we're stuck in this cycle of the game being stable for a minute, then breaking as they add in features no one wanted, that don't work, and change how the game is played.

Open world is never going to happen with the way the game is optimised atm. They need to fix what works, and tweak and balance everything else.
That being said, I’m excited for a decent recoil system, after they ruined it 3 years ago.
Tarkov will always be in beta, don't expect that game to ever finish, bc they keep changing everything constantly and actually don't have a end goal set.
I think that if two of your teammates. And your AI are securing evidence, I think it’s a sign that it’s YOURE job to set security for your fellow officers while they work the scene. It’s a teamwork effort even if you are commanding, because if you die, or become incapacitated highest rank takes over. So if there’s two left and they aren’t setting security for you to work dead/ downed suspects or civilians then setting security for them should be the players priority until they are done.
I like the realistic backgrounds and the fact they have personality so, playing with AI in my opinion is a team effort so if they are securing the scene then I’m gonna set security for them.
I think the idea is that player can do the shooty-shooty things, when AI does the more boring wrap up things
IRL every member of SWAT can do every role and can take over if someone else gets hurt standard breaching team is about 5 people some calls have more then one team
For the longest time, this is what I wished the ARMA AI commanding experience was like. Bots that look like they know what they're doing and don't suddenly stop during a firefight and go retarted.
Hopefully that will change in arma 4
The vanilla ARMA AI is absolute trash. With the ALive mod the AI is much smarter and more realistic. The game is like a decade old at this point without mods it's pretty rough around the edges.
I find myself actually replying to the new AI because of their communication throughout the maps. The fact that the SWAT AI will ever go fully independent, at times, clearing rooms by themselves, making their own decisions, etc, is so damn cool!
Also i hope all games start making good AI, make it a standard thing to have from now on, it'll be so nice.
RoN just needs a good performance update/patch.
This is silly but when I was a kid I posted a really disrespectful comment on your gun showcase. Before I can watch this in good conscience I want to say that was wrong and I'm sorry DDG. You're channel is still going super strong and it's inspirational to see a guy who just likes playing games still going after all these years in a business surrounded by fake people. I was a stupid kid but I still remember it, and to beat it all as a grown man I am a 2nd amendment NUT. So in short, DDG the fact you have kept your channel alive through so many changes is a testament to your strength of character and honesty as a human being and I learnt alot from you just peripherally, oh, and thank you for your service 🇺🇸 🦅
My biggest nitpick is that when they stacked up on the stairs at 4:04ish, the two AI in front should have been covering across to each other's side, rather than covering their own side
yup but will probably be fixed later down the line with furhter improvements and feedback ai already has come a long way
That would require AI to do sync’ed tradeoffs and barrel waves etc. All for what? Better angles on a barricade/big-T drill.. doubt they’ll bother with that
@@el_mazzo9215 No it wouldn't, you clear the opposite side, then when you tell them to move in, they flip and turn their closest corner like it's done in real life. You don't cross over to the opposite side, you flip and move around your closest corner. Doesn't require hardly anything that they aren't already doing.
@@scope81 yeah, I’m tracking the drill. I’d be infinitely impressed to see them do that. You would think if they had every single map’s rooms, hallways, feed-types, obstacle shapes and angles pre-programmed to illicit a response, they would already be doing those drills. But it seems like they didn’t go that direction. No doubt it must’ve been hard as balls to program

I played this on practice, and this shit was challenging lmao Every restart the positioning of enemies and civies are different. And the AI kept killing Micheal before I could even arrest him. The update is sick tho! Keep em comin!

I wish there were more customizing features like ground branch has and being able to see all the maps again. Managing your teams health is a bit silly but the new ai is awesome! They actually do shit and don’t get in the way. Also exiting the game mid game and it having an impact on your team is wild

Ur AI didn’t light you up from the back. You got shot by the guy you were trying to subdue and then another one peaked the left corner after you got hit and shot you also.
Ye he also doesn’t check his back and just walks into rooms that have doors open with out closing the door and checking to see if anyone is in that room
Loving it! Like that goes mission to mission. AI team seems mostly useful which is good and great for solo players. Definitely enjoy it. 10/10 recommend it
They rlly need to come out with a performance patch cuz the frames drop like crazy in this game.
I get 140fps on highest setting with a rtx 3060 OC and i7 7700k. Even with such a massive system bottleneck it still runs great.
You run directx 11 or 12?

Honestly thought we were going into a swatting call until my ai team got lit up from the upper floors. Now they have PTSD.

@@amerikhan8507 The thing is the mission is actually just a swatting call, however the streamer lives in a complex with alot of wanted criminals and gangs that loaded their guns when they saw swat roll in. at first I thought they added this as a intro mission where nothing happens

I have been thinking about trying this. I noticed it quiet later and when it now even got a full release I am more thinking about it. I have 100s of hours of terrorist hunt in rsv 1 and 2. I have played rs 1 and 3 and some rs 2 too. If is so much better then that, then I might really think I about getting it since it was so addicting on rsv so fun. Do you mean when comparing to terroirst hunt the older rs games or newer, solo or coop or both? Is the sp camapign allright? How is the gmae mode? Is it like a easy enogh game to learn a game where you can pick up here or there? Anyway sounds good. Hope people enjoy it, i might actually get this.

It's amazing but it's unoptimized sadly the fps bounces up and down from 40 to 110 depending on where in map and even in maps that were steady 120 to 144fps now get fps bouncing around like a pinball.

Important rule that will never be stressed enough: Don't underestimate the enemy. Expect the unexpected.
Essentially what happened is that a streamer got swatted but because he lives in shit vill U.S.A. a bunch of the people at the building were wanted criminals and saw Swat coming.
Thats the point and actually subverting expectiations. Its a wrongful SWATing, but the whole Appartmentcomplex is filled with wanted gangsters
Totally a Ready or Not supporter. Their updates have been fantastic and them not holding off on the gore is admirable. Fun to go rogue once and a while.

Damn, my officers are probably super actions, I played it for a 3 missions and I didn't realise how I could check the roster. I thought i'd unlock it or I was playing the wrong mode. xD
I just got this game like less than a week ago. I got to see and play the version before this one. My question is are we still able to pick any mission from a large map the same way we were able to or must we unlock them in single player first? Thanks.

It's a little wonky but the AI is more than good enough to give a good solo experience. Void are doing outstanding work and I hope they get all the support because they deserve it

There's a fire escape side entrance. Just playing for the first time, but i chose that route and it was a bit less hot.
Yeah. Taking the fire escape keeps the angles manageable and allows you to simultaneously breach both floors at once and keep your back clear.
The atrium is still sketchy but if you take through the second floor you can clear it without too much hazard.

I had to restart this mission 5 times (not in Iron Man Mode). Bring lots of flashbangs and throw on full heavy steel armor. I finally beat it with 10mm MP5.
The thing that sucks is they removed the option to do any mission you like
I think it’s okay tho. Yes, for the longest time we’ve been able to play any mission we like but I think they are going for a nice campaign feel where you unlock the next mission after completing the previous, and you can replay any mission you like after the fact. So pretty much what I’m trying to say is once you complete the game. It pretty much is what it used to be and play any mission you want. Honestly it’s not a bad feature in my opinion.

Typed Ready Or Not review and this was the first Video I came upon. Definitely getting this! Does RoN have a official discord and is their a community or clans for this? Does this also have any sort of PvP?
no pvp but it is co op, although ever since the official release of the game, my fps for the game has dropped dramatically but it was fine in the early access stage. Could just be my pc but others are having the problem as well.

No sir. All missions come unlocked and you can also install modded missions and maps very easily.

They definitely need to add collision between swat units, that looks so weird, the AI is way better than before but still small issues here and there which is understandable since it’s unbearable work to program this level of AI

i really want controller support for that, i forget how to play with mouse and keyboard for many years on console.
AI is still cracked - played two missions and they were drilling me thru walls. Graphics are stuttered and not optimized as well.
I played for hours and while I saw them blind fire through walls/around doorways quite a lot I never had anyone actually landing any shots through a wall. Because I wasn't standing there. It was like the AI just predicted that I might be and was lighting that spot up while I was just watching from cover. So I'm pretty sure they just assume that people might be on the other side of a wall sometimes.
This game is crazy I can't believe the level of customization yet it doesn't seem overly complicated... I wish you could play online with people I'd play this instead of COD for sure. COD needs to take notes because these people clearly know how to make a good FPS.

Co-op squad gameplay. You can enter a mission with your friends taking on other squad members.
one thing im having trouble with is some of the weapons not being equipable. i wanna use the LVAR yet the game just refuses to let me use it so im just stumped
Do you have a old weapons mod installed? I found out that old weapons mod (not altering the model or skin) will prohibit equip or even remove old guns from armoury

Theres a 911 dispatch area, id really like to see like smaller scale missions maybe all by yourself and 1-3 threats that you can do at random in there.
