    These are awesome. Thanks for taking the time to do them. I’m GM next week for our first ATOW session, switching from Destiny.
    It’s pretty overwhelming and this helps a ton.
    Combat seems super brutal in AToW. How do players manage to stay alive in ver multiple sessions??

      Thanks. Did you find the cheat sheets I made? I have a video on some of them.
      To keep players alive through multiple sessions, you can increase their HP, but don't do the same for the enemies. Using team initiative may be a good option. Give the players stim packs so they are more likely to pass their consciousness checks.
      Check out the optional rules for reduced lethality.

    Unfortunately, this RPG is a little too involved :(. If you're huge into wargaming, than that's great, but as an RPG I can see this being slow. I'm running a one shot for my friends soon, but I'm a little discouraged.

      It looks slower than it is. Most bad guys should go down in one to two hits. This game has more math in the attacking end, but less math on the HP tracking end.

      The other BattleTech RPG is called "MechWarrior: Destiny." It's designed to be simpler.
