The confederacy won the economic wars by building things at such a rate and scale that they simply outgrew all competition laying the groundwork for the various terran factions that inherited their tech to compete with the likes of the zerg's rampant growth and the vast pre-existing reserves of the protoss: they can make something new just as fast as the protoss can take something out of storage.

Hey man I've been becoming an old and slow boomer but StarCraft still has such a big place in my heart, and these videos are the perfect mix of nostalgia and novelty for me. Keeping the love alive.
I'm 24 the prefect age to get fucked over. My first RTS was I think age of empires but c&c generals is what blew my mind. So I grew up playing c&c being trash because I was a kid. Now that I can play at a high level c&c is dead thanks to EA. Right now everything rests on if Stormgate is successful. AOE4 is fun but it just lacks the complexity and honestly it feels awful to control armies. It's a real shame because I think Halo Wars 2 could of been a fantastic RTS. I still love Halo Wars 2 but again it's clearly made so more casual players can test the waters. Never mind the F2P card garbage that was stapled onto it.

its a war crime to disguise your soldiers as civilians, but its not the same if they're just militia who just dont have military uniforms. Its not an attempt at deception, thats just their actual clothes.

yes and no they came in with moltovs joining and cheering a known rebel faction by name however they were lined up fore relocation for state factory or mining work on threat of death with standing orders to kill and not bother with alot of other stuff in short shooting them after they firebombed soldiers wasn't a warcrime everything before however totaly was

In the SC universe you would rather be anything than a marine. And that's just the canon. Marine is literally an option for the death sentence. It's in the game. The description of the marauder states for example that the marauders have the smallest convict percentage among all the bio combat units. Because those bulky suits are actually so well equipped you get a real chance of survival. While the flamey boy suits sometimes kill their inhabitants by leaking.
I'm actually a little surprised at how little damage the marines deal: those aren't anti-personnel weapons they are carrying those are full on anti-vehicle LMGs they are canonically supposed to be capable of duking it out with most kinds of armored vehicles and coming out on top (in terms of even resources not 1v1), basically they are geared up to be efficient at fighting anything that's expensive and goes some flavor of vroom. they serve well enough at anti-infantry to mostly hold their own but that's not their intended job, that role goes (funnily enough) to anti-infantry-flavor expensive stuff that goes vroom, later suplemented by firebats when zerglings and zealots showed up. short version: equal resources of marines _should_ still shred through battlecruisers 'n whatnot even rebalanced to-lore, that is literally what their job is: be good at killing everything that is more expensive to field than they are. in starcraft lore-balance everybody needs anti-infantry to deal with the infantry and anti-anti-infantry to let their infantry *_work_* the general-infantry for every race trumps most everything else it can touch but is super reliant on positioning and information from the rest of their military. in regards to this mission they _should_ be able to rush at a couple tanks and kill them effectively (that is almost explicitly the job their armor and weapons are made to do), but not with all those hellions and other infantry there to kill/stall them. note: the hydralisk is supposed to be the zerg "infantry" the iconic zerglings are more like chaff/flares/smokescreen/etc they are _just_ there to be something that is cheaper than dirt to produce that the enemy can not ignore, it costs less to make zerglings than it does to spread creep...actually, creep would be fairly expensive for the zerg...it'd also be doing a LOT of their resource acquisition though.
Keep in mind this was with an upgrade deficiency. +1 weapons would increase the damage of these marines by 33%-50%. They can still kill larger vehicles pretty well (with the exception of the biggest ships, colossi, and thors)
For some reason the YT algorithm isn't recommending these anymore, not even the next one in the series, even though I've watched like half the archives.
IIRC the scale mod just changes the size of units but still keeps the original stats of everything, this changes the health/damage/range to what is probably more accurate to the units.

It adds the campaign units to the base game, try to rebalance stuff so nothing is ever useless, and I'm trying not to resize things toooooo much.

I think I saw somewhere that Vikings are built from SCV structural frames, so yeah I assumed that they would be decently sized.

That was always weird to me the armor did so little. Its power armor, it should work better. But then again, you can't even fit in it so oh well.

The bunkers themselves are unchanged, but firebats and marauders are both 1 cargo slot.
