This was fun, I found you on the WoL deathless run, and I have enjoyed all your stuff since then. I generally enjoy analyzed speed runs like this if you decide you want to do more, it is hardly the only option however.
I have a suggestion for a challenge, wings of liberty on brutal without buying anything. A joke could be needing beer money, or the TV at the begginning costing more than expected.

The reason the Blink didn't work in Whispers of Doom is because Zeratul needs to be right next to the wall, then you cast Blink on the space fog of war covered space. Edit: Look mom, I'm on screen!
I love how on deathless runs the strategy is slow and meticulous trying to keep everyone alive And then on speed runs it just medics? More like meat shields get in there
If you guys are wondering how op GGG is, after watching this video, i managed a 3 hour speed run of WOL by following his outline and I'm pretty garbage at micro and this game in general. It was super fun to do and see the actual final time :) Try it!
It was interesting to see you speedrun Starcraft 2 after having done a no man left behind challenge for the Starcraft 2 Trilogy (though I'm still looking forward to the Legacy of the Void prologue and Nova Covert Ops), so I'm interested in what kinds of strategies you would use for speedruns of both Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void.
Yesterday I discover your videos from the "no one dies" of hots then lov and wol today I see this and must subscribe congrats for the achivment. im waching you from Chile - south america
I am really impressed in Gates of Hell, I didn't thought of orbital strike being useful on that mission. Edit: Where's outbreak and The Evacuation missions?
Nice Run and commentary :) I went Back to the campaign for the new achievements, does anyone know how i get to the Secret Mission from the archives, without restarting the whole campaign?
All these men survived the campaign once and believed to be blessed by the gods with immortality because of it The second time they rushed through thinking that the gods were still watching them, but they were wrong
Only tychus's questline is mandatory, but its missions are locked behind a certain number of missions completed. So you do tychus's missions, mar Sara missions, and char missions because they're mandatory, and any other missions are just to pad the mission count as quickly as possible, while also getting 25 protoss research
I was probably looking badly, but couldn't find how to increase the speed of the campaign. Can anyone tell me how to do this? It's very unusual after other campaigns or online games, but I really like to replay the game with some strange challenge.
When in a campaign mission, go to the Gameplay menu in the options screen. There is a slider at the top. Slide it to the right for fast or faster speed.

Two extreme forms of completing RTS campaigns. Speed running (sacrifice anything for the clock), or keep all your units alive challenge (take as long as you need).
Just to clarify what is bound to be confusion: When on the "Faster" speed, the game and clock run at 1.4x speed, this means that a "30 Minute" defense mission on faster takes 21 minutes and 45 seconds real time.
@@sigh6140 No it isn't. Believe me, I've done it and the mission continues. Zerg keep spawning out of nidus worms that appear constantly and flyers come from the corners of the map. You're probably thinking about "Welcome to the Jungle" or "The Dig", where destroying all the protoss structures will indeed end the mission early.
Imagine the Dominion going from "Zerg are attacking, everyone is going to die" to "The Queen of Blades is dead and we're saved" in less than two hours.
The bridge in A Sinister Turn extends either at a certain time (3:30?) or when 5 units are produced - and it counts units the AI makes, so it trips early because you used the DTs to kill a bunch of Tal'darim in the right base and then the AI replaced them, setting off the trigger. I figured this from copying the strategy from the 'hard difficulty without producing units' speedrun on youtube for the 'Hurry up it's raid night' achievement and because the Zeratul missions are kinda shit so I like to just get them out of the way ASAP.
Also compared to regular runs of the play which involve sending huge armies to die in battle, he still only makes the minimal troop investment to guarante the fastest victory
GGG went from "no man left behind" to "no cost is too great" very quickly.
the Mengsk transformation xD
He switch from the raynor commander to mengsk

I've been rewatching your deathless runs recently, and am super hyped for this video. Can't get enough of Starcraft 2 campaign shenanigans.

I comment solely for the into. Thanks man, speed running is a niche thing and should be supported.

Can you beat Warcraft 3 without losing a unit?
That would probably be a lot easier. Warcraft 3 units attack slower, and have a lot more hitpoints.
why did you choose shatter the sky mission? isn't the other one can be done faster?
No, shatter the sky takes 4 minutes with speedrun strategies. Belly of the beast takes at least 15 (don't quote me on that, just a rough estimate)
