- かなり長いですが、できる限りの作業工程を早送りなど使わずに投稿です。
ペーパーで磨くシーンなど長すぎる箇所はカットしてしまいました。
塗装後にも#2000のペーパーで磨きます。
今回は大分県の建具屋さんから頂いた高価なアメリカンチェリーです。
Cukup panjang, tapi saya memposting proses pengerjaan sebanyak mungkin tanpa menggunakan fast-forwarding. Saya memotong bagian yang terlalu panjang, seperti adegan yang dipoles dengan kertas. Setelah mengecat, poles dengan kertas #2000. Kali ini, itu adalah ceri Amerika mahal yang saya terima dari toko bengkel tukang kayu di prefektur Oita.

I appreciate the video showing the whole process and not skipping parts, also I’m not a safety freak and I know I do many things that are risky and dangerous and usually end up learning the hard way. So if you don’t mind me sharing a little pointer on the band saw. Don’t tilt the piece into the blade to trim angles like that, I know I used to do the same thing but eventually if it’s tough wood or the blade gets dull or pinched what will happen is the unsupported piece will get pulled downward to the table very hard and very fast and if your hand is holding the piece firmly it will probably get pulled right into the blade or smashed under the workpiece. Either way it could be bad. Just think of the way the blade cuts/ rotates and what it would be like making a cross cut if there was no table, that’s essentially what we’re creating by tilting the workpiece up off the table to trim corners. Great project though I’m planning on trying myself soon.
Easy to do to use machines. I do to but just use my hands and avery one takes abaut nearly 4-5 days. But each one has a soul ı think that.

長くやってきて辿り着いた製作方法ですが、私が作りたいフォルムを作るにはこの方法が良さそうです。
サンディングはもっとも時間と気力を使う作業なのでもう少し楽に出来ないかと思っている所ですが…良い物は楽して作れないですね。笑笑

ガウジの研ぎの角度ですかね？55°くらいで研いでいます。10mmのボウルガウジをメインで使用しています。
内側を削る際には、目標とする深さ、幅に到達する付近でガウジを研ぎ直して綺麗に仕上げています。

塩茹でなどの割れ防止はしないのですか？

「塩でゆでることで木が締まる」
「塩でゆでると強度がでる」と調べるほど出てきますが、仕上げの塗装がオイル塗装の場合は効果があるのかなと思っております。
私は多くの方に手軽に使っていただけるよう、浸透性ウレタンを塗装しているため不要かなと思い行っておりません。
また、
・木材そのものの色が変わってしまいそう。
・塩味が長期間残るという声が多い
・何故ゆでると割れなくなるのか、明確な理由が調べてもあまり出てこない
・乾燥材には効果がない(と、いう声も)
などの理由もありおこなっておりません。
あくまで私個人の考え方ですので、「塩でゆでなければククサとは呼べない」と言われてしまえばそれまでですが…
家でも外でも気軽に使えて洗剤で洗え手入れも簡単なククサと、コーヒーが塩味になるククサのどちらを作りたいのかと考えて、ゆでておりません。

私も手彫りでククサ作りをし始めているのですが、塩茹でをして長い時間乾燥させてヒビが入ってしまったら手間と労力が無駄になるな…とずっと思って気になっていました。
浸透性ウレタン塗料はその後もひび割れなどしていないのでしょうか？
@@igucci7542 割れてしまうと確かに…ショックは大きいですね！
食器用の物をしっかりと正しく塗装すれば長く使えるものになると思います。
