Thank you for your very clear and informative video! Couple of questions please, 1) How does one ensure that the clay pots do not dislocate while concrete is being poured? 2) Per cubic meter what is the approx. dead load reduction compared to standard RCC slab?
hello, clear distance between two reinforcement bars is 300 mm (because we got local pot size is around 225 -230 mm i.e. 9 inch and considering cover for reinforcement ). in above video plz check last 1 minute video carefully. technical details of filler slab with detailing is given.
Very informative and easy to understand Thank you. Can you tell what are the disadvantage compared to RCC slab and is there any chance of filler material like clay breaking in long term???
@@09Abhinandan yes it can bear same load, actually dead load is reduced as compared to conventional R.C.C. slab. we replace only concrete in tension zone with filler material.

Hello, there are no disadvantages of filler slab. In worst case if clay pot gets broken then also concrete around it holds pot. No chances of damage.
