I love steven for 1 reason, he is casual, like 90% of the pf playerbase. He spends his time doing silly things and making silly videos with silly content. So we can relate to a lot of what he shows us and have a pretty accurate recreation.

223 on the m231 is also pretty good. Any amount of recoil reduction on that gun is worth it, plus it doesn’t affect the damage that bad.

The Saiga 12 with .223 is an interesting case because the Aug A1 (btw, one of the guns I have the most kills on) has the same damage as the Saiga 223. So you can decide between having very low recoil or more ammo per magazine. Both guns are very good. Also congratulations for rank 224 🥳! As always very interesting video, you always make my evening better 👍.
Fun fact: hollow points maintains the 5 shot kill range on Auga1

I feel like using .223 are useful on guns that have high recoil (and must be used?) for CQB maps since you mostly fire at guys within near point blank range. It's like converting rifles to SMGs, which is rather pointless since you can just use SMGs or other guns that have low recoils where it's more efficient.

-skeleton grip
-remove/retract stock(remove is better ngl)

hey steven, i just found an unironically decent no recoil loadout for the mg42, it's a bit unorthodox, but it works. setup is any sight, preferably amt terminator, chainsaw grip, halbek device, light bolt, and any ammo

cool vid. I have a lot of fun with my Famas G2 setup with .223, makes it noticeably more controllable and still beams at medium range. It's G2, Piliad 3, .223, pistol grip, T brake (you can prob use comp too).
I mainly use a G2 and was sad when it didn’t get any attention, definitely will try out this setup though!
As some one who played A LOT of phantom forces (on xbox ), I really enjoyed the l22 with .223 with some other attachments. It was the closest I've ever felt to feeling like I was actually good at the game. I would go on very silly killstreaks, like one time where I got around 19 kills before dying.
223 on the colt lmg used to be super good, as it still kept the 3 shot torso. Even now after the nerfs, I still think it’s worth it to use. It makes it pretty good in medium range, and 60 bullets plus no recoil is a great recipe for long multis

The l85 probably isn’t very great since while it’s not very obvious it actually hits your 4sk range pretty hard where you can 4sk to 150 studs with the base gun it gets knocked down to only 98 studs with .223

I LOVE .223 on an m4a1. though you only get 20 rounds, it's reload time is super fast and i feel like a little goblin zooming around zapping people with a super accurate gun

you forgot the most important and best gun, The MAX-III or the Type 20, best round for round conversion kit, would love to see a part 2 or a video solely focused on that gun or even a youtube short. In my belief by far the highest KDR achieving gun

I do have a request if you put mine in a video or something shooting at a wall to see it's recoil because at first it kicks up a little and then steady right there and you could shoot across the map

Hey steven, I love your videos and they entertain me a ton, and even though I'm only rank 23 I still love the ranking videos and videos like this one, but i've been wondering something for a while. what is the true WORST weapon in Phantom forces? like actually unusable, worse than the zip 22 worse than boxy buster, worse than bare fists (which are a one handed blunt for some reason and not two handed) like worse than e gun / coil gun. I know you probably won't see this but I'm gonna keep commenting it until you do :)

I only really use .223 on the L86 LSW for that LMG feel but even then I don't even use the L86 too often

the reason why 223 is on so many guns is because it’s basically 5.56
EW the reload at that fov wasnt even a reload, he just took the mag out let it breath and put it back in with somehow refreshed rounds
