As a player since I believe 2016, this is like nostalgic acupuncture to my brain, I might’ve been 8 years old at the time, but I still loved the game and just seeing the old hud throws me way back

Edit: I’ve hated the devs since 2020, recent accusations don’t shock me at all. Hopefully PF could get a new dev team, but if I know anything about stylis, it’s that they never fail to disappoint.

Well its about to change, they are revamping the ENTIRE recoil system. Soem people hate it and some like it, but one thing is that pf will never be the same after its released

@@Tjoc12they can't do it to every gun instantly, so a few gun will get revamped with each patch, and also new guns added will also have new recoil.

i love the game purely because of it's massive collection of guns that i would've never known existed and also the amount of customization combinations with attachments
tbh deadline is better when it comes to customization. I haven't played PF in years cause of the toxicity and how sweaty the average player is.

Yes that's pretty cool, but if you wanna really be shocked from customizing levels, just play Escape From Tarkov. It's has best customizing as I seen.

Still my favorite PF event of all time. I don't know why, but I just adored it.
Been playing the game since 2016 and the core gameplay has not changed even a bit. The childlike community, the bugs,... they still stay the same for all of these years; to the point where i got bored of it and somewhat stopped playing completely and then come back just to grind a few more ranks knowing you have no more guns to unlock. The game has become a love-hate relationship that the more you hate it, the more you stick to it.

I started playing roblox around mid to late 2018
I found phantom forces curios on what the gameplay could be, i was shocked by how polished and nice the gameplay was back then even now... i lost my account early 2019 i was a rank 23 when i did
I recovered my account back around early to mid 2021, playing the game again gave me nostalgia and seeing the game even more polished and rounded put a tear in my eye
Here i am... a rank 136 who plays casually, returning back to the game from time to time

Think about it, StyLis did games right. They never lost their vision for the game. They didn't succumb to being moneyhungry and making random overstimulating shit like what happens to some great games like Zo.
They never got money hungry, they stayed passionate, and they kept their vision. StyLis made a fun game, making them in my eyes one of the last true _Game Studios_ out there.
in all fairness when tampered handed zo over to voldex, it was all over

Yeah, that's my biggest issue with modern PF. The conversions are a cool idea, but the cost for them is so extreme. 3,000 kills just to change a few stats is ridiculous.

2016 was such a fun year, especially playing PF.
2016 to 2017 were the best pf years imo, the rogue one event with that moon base map to the game literally having a new feel by the summer update to the melee update
It has been 2 and a half years (I started in January 2021) and this game has evolved so much from when I started. It is crazy that it still has a decent player count.
I began to stop playing in late 2017. I gave it until 2020 before I though it would be completely dead. So yes. It is indeed crazy that it still holds decent numbers.

my childhood :
I started playing this game when I was in high school, sort of an escape from playing CS:GO and high school itself (at the time I was trying to start an e-sport career on CSGO albeit it didn't go well and ended up sim racing now instead) but looking back to when this game was in its infant stage, it all felt like opening a box of nostalgia.
This was actually my first roblox game and I feel so much nostalgia by watching this. Phantom forces will hold a very special place in my heart :)
Big up Litozinnamon, i used to play call of robloxia 5 and now Phanton forces is the only game i consistently play.
The names of the creators/sources of the footage seems very minimal, but it's kind of sad to see that most of the people that were making videos about this game to be gone and doing other things. They really brought a new community even way back 2017.

Man I remember back in December 2017 when everyone was Hunting the Rail Gun, liked once you got your hands on it you were basically trying to survive from the onslaught
There was also a Free Gear if you played the space mode and this is when Crates were finally put to public use

I used to watch my older brother play this mid 2015-2016 and it was entertaining.
Phantom Forces was me and my friends game back in 2016-2017 I got to 67 and at the time I was like the big guy with no life when I entered the lobby and dropped 35-3 adv with Famas. Started again recently and it’s nice to see how much has improved and the funny attachments like oil filter suppressor. Makes me glad I spent so much time to unlock so much years ago and not have to pay 15$ for battlebit and start from 0 grind

ah, the good old 2010s, where there wasn't at least 7 rank 130+ players running and superjumping on top of you and annihilating you with a gun that has 14500 firerate

i can pinpoint the exact moment i joined this game through this vid. Unfortunately i fell out of my prime and quit this game around 2020. Still hold it dearly though

The game was far more enjoyable in 2016-2018 then it is now, they nerfed nearly all of the starter guns so much that it is hard to play when you are a fresh spawn.
Major flip of fun for me what either the user-base getting far better at the game, or me just degrading in ability. Not to mention some of the map reworks are not too great either, and lots of hackers in random lobbies.
And I hate what they did to the M4A1, they nerfed it so much that it is angering, plus it didn't move attachments over from the original M4.
I feel the same however I started playing PF in 2019 and this time was the best as for me. And you are absolutely right, players literally became jumping monkeys that oneshot you with ultra cursed weapon (and you can also see how players change through years in the video) and nowadays this game is unplayable.
@@gt-r3190 they should really get rid of the leap jumping, sliding is ok 👌, the jumping 10 feet while prone is insane and leads to the game becoming a mess. So it really needs to be more grounded like it used to, with slightly slower movement and slightly faster vaulting.
Tbh at this point phantom forces is the Call of Duty to Battlebit’s Battlefield clone.
The developers of PF are probably getting sick of working on the same game for the last 10 years, so I doubt they will fix the issues or do any changes as extreme as I layed out.
I, as the issue you all talk about, being a rank 362, can say one thing: We play the game and love it for what you hate
I love PF for limitless skill ceiling in everything, especially movement, and limitless gun customization. Also starter guns arent supposed to be op or anything, they are supposed to be the most balanced middle of the road guns, which they are exactly

I still get a positive KD, I just don't enjoy the overzealous moving mechanics that can leap people 20 feet away.
Also the "limitless skill ceiling in everything" is only people who sit on their cheap amazon PC's for 4 thousand hours purposely ruining people's fun in the game by using the most OP and toxic weapons.

What do you mean??? They legitimately nerfed most of the beginner weapons ~3 years ago, such as the M4 and M4A1.
The M4A1 used to be the M4, but when they added the "new" M4A1, it didn't add the attachments over from the OG M4 which is annoying, and the burst fire M4 sucks in comparison to the original M4.
The M4A1 was nerfed as the result of this switch and move over and completely stopped me from using this weapon which i had 6K kills on.

M4A1 is still one OF BEST guns in the game, even with no attachments, being able to kill everyone. Also, the "abusing all the most op 1000 rpm smgs/toxic guns" is about tryhards, not about good players. I am a good skilled player, and i have fun from playing with skill based weapons, that require me as example, to hit headshot, like scout, mosin, Automag III, etc
I dont have any fun from OP guns and i utterly dislike the gameplay of grinding kills for the sake of grinding xp, and not killing cus its fun using a certain gun

noone is ruining the game on purpose, except cheaters and trolls. If they didnt like the game they wouldnt tryhard grind it. If you feel like they are, its just rage. Get over it, its a GAME, not your real life job, you dont have to take it seriously
