I'm glad that know-nothings hate on gear like this. It keeps the prices down and the bidding easy for those of us willing to go hunting for those gems in the entry/mid level market.
I had a Marshall Valvestate AVT50 and miss it. Now have a peavey Bandit red stripe. The AVT 50 is one of the best non tube sounding Marshalls, in my opinion. If you turn down the bass on the clean channel it will clean up the sound a bit.
It's amazing how good this cheap amp can sound when paired with a decent cabinet. Absolutely kicks ass through an EVH 5150 III 2x12

It’s not a non tube amp it has a preamp tube .But yes if sounds awesome!!
how old is the tube , did you replace? Did you try this into a 2x12 extension cab I heard the speaker mids muddy can get better on v30
