i listed 3 items a day this month which i have never done and i got really good results compared to other months, consistency definitely works. also the crash bandicoot figure is awesome
Sourcing is definitely the toughest aspect. Its very competitive out there. btw I wouldn't recommend storing books in the tubs. You can fit more on the shelf outside the tub and they can lose their shape or get damaged when they're in tubs, especially hardcovers.
Yeah nah, not telling people what I do anymore. There's a lot of animosity towards resellers at my locals, even though they also sell some of the stuff on ebay 😂 I also told a guy at work I source stuff at op shops to sell on ebay and he had a look of malice on his face. But you do you, mate. Are you shutting down the second store once the all the stuff sells?
I'm finally experiencing consistent sales thanks in large part to Matt. List desirable items daily and have a repricing strategy for inventory that has been sitting for a while everyone is looking for a deal. The harder you work the luckier you get!
Also when u mentioned about having connections, I was very hesistant at the start of my journey and still am to tell people what I do and how it’s done, however I have been promoting it on local community face book groups and finding people who have stuff I’m interested in buying but didn’t put it on market place or think it was worth Anything. So great tip for anyone who’s just starting out guys I would reccomend it 100%
@@zovocs just your local community notice board groups for your town/city ( if they have one) mine for my town has about 60-70k members in it from all different ages. Allows a large demographic to see my business and a lot of the older people do not have instagram or depop which are the two platforms I use. Also have had people buy a ton of stock off me before who didn’t even know what my page was just from a simple post !
I found a pair of NM condition Disney snow white and the seven dwarves Dopey asics shoes but I can't find any comps. Any idea what the pricing should be?
I’m going to try the repricing strategy when I arrive home from overseas. I love your vids Matt and your the reason I actually started my instagram and depop acc up and been doing well for a consecutive year !
@@TheAussieFlipper it’s even better because u follow my page too!! ( vintage x). I am only a part time seller, and work a casual job... Its hard to find a balance when your hours are different every week! For the last month have been listing 5 items a day, mainly scheduling my listing each night for the following day if I am working. I have been getting smalls sales each week but they have been consistent ... This past two weeks I have been so sick, still going to work as I don't get sick pay but finding I didn't have the energy to do any listings at night. And yes have noticed a drop in sales! Thank you Matt for sharing all you knowledge ... Once I am 100% again I will be back to listing everyday!
10 sales a day lol and listing 70 a week and making you tube videos do you ever get time to sleep !!!!!! 7 sales a week is enough for for me but I prefer $100+ sales
I Never buy from thrifts anymore , they have all got high and mighty and think they are a boutique , charging top dollar . I still visit but Na . Bulk deals and auctions do me the best .
