Welcome to our newest video feature from SML. Race Tech Editor's Corner is a chance for the content creators at Swapmoto Live - Donn, Chase, and Kellen - to share thoughts about anything related to two wheels, good or bad. In this episode, Chase Curtis explains his dependence on the sport we all know and love; and how time on the bike is a necessity for his mental health.

im 65 and mx has been my drug since 1972......ive lived in new england and winters are brutal to my well being because i couldnt ride......at 65 ive got over it but i love when spring comes.......never drank or smoked or took drugs.......most friends are either dead or unhealthy......be good to your body and eat healthy kids......it makes for an older body to feel still young.......and wear rubber gloves to keep the chemicals at bay........so many guys i knew use to have the grimiest hands all the time and they are gone

So true. I started on 1989 I’m 52 and still racing. Tried every other motosport including martial arts, and nothing is like this. 💪🏻✔️

I feel the same way this time of year. Living in the Northeast really makes it harder.😕

Riding, racing or any other hobbie can never become your identity bro. Same with Don. That’s why today’s riding will have you experiencing the same negative emotions in a week. It’s not a cure it’s a band aid. The void you experience is the absence of Christ and your separation from God. I hope we can talk more. John 3:16, Philippians 1:21.

Sure it can, especially when it’s your job/hobbies/ and passion. Nothing wrong with that. I may not be a professional skateboarder but I’m always a skater at heart and mind, even at 42.
