I think so too; I'm pretty sure my 8 yr old could manage a better set without any practice. It's her fault id of taken a photo and posting it on their site or trying to talk to the owner right then. Then I recorded myself going to the new nail salon with the nails and them getting redone. Have to have receipts. If then she would refund or give me a free appointment, I'll break 105 worth of nail polish lmao. I started doing my own nails after the Covid-19 lock down, and never looked back 😂!

NO NEED TO AGRUE TO GET YOUR REFUND FYI Ladies: It's always better to Pay & Tip the hair salon & nail tech salon with a known credit card: American Express, Discover, Visa, Mastercard because with these cards you can file a claim and dispute the charges for botched services. Just have video evidence and pics of your botched up hair or nails to email the claim manager... Any salon that only wants cash should be a red flag 🚩
I've seen the clip before, the customer went to a different salon to get a nail fixed coz the original salon she went to was closed the day after she had her set done so the salon lady was in the right not to give her a refund.
@@rhiafensom9637: I think the nail tech could have given her half her money back just to try and keep her as a client... I’ve never been to an Asian nail salon that follows proper sanitation procedures, but yet they still thrive. They got mad when I told them not to use a Credo blade on my feet, which is against state board in Ga. I go to a black nail tech now that does things right. No cuts, no bleeding, no infections and my nails are thriving
She mentioned that she doesn't want to get file/shape or anything after having acrylic put on her nails, which is why they may appear slightly thick and uneven. If the acrylic powder isn't applied close to the cuticle, she can simply request for it to be filled in a bit.
I can’t lie. That clip at 4:59 that lady in the black shit wasn’t wrong. If I go to a nail shop and one is messed up and I go somewhere else to have them fixed and come back to that salon and they don’t refund me why would I be upset she should have went right back there and no ain’t no restaurant doing what that lady said 😂😂
4:58 > I agreed with the nail tech over the client ! Why would want someone to redo your nails when you got them done somewhere else ! Girl it’s embarrassing! Just sad
I have NEVER seen anything like this and Ive been going to the nail salon for 40 years. WHY would you stay at such a filthy place and allow them to work on your hands or feet??
@@JodiTheIslandGirl Thats crazy, if I am paying for a service and I can see early in the service that you are not up to par ... im stopping you and i am leaving. Im not paying for poor service/products willingly.
@@JodiTheIslandGirlstop calling them ladies. These are spoiled little girls in women’s bodies. They have never had to fight for themselves, nor advocate for themselves. That’s a basic life skill. They were failed by everyone around them. They are weak. THIA IS SOMETHING AS TRIVIAL AS NAILS! FRIVOLITY! And they can’t speak up? Imagine being the child of someone weak like that who can’t even advocate for themselves over something as vain as fake nails… I feel not sympathy for them. Like, at the very least they could have just got up and left at the first sign of things going left. At the very least they could have done their own due diligence. But no, they are the victim…no personal accountability anywhere to be found. I’m glad I grew up poor and became wealthy later on in life. I didn’t have this form of spoiled privilege. Ugh, and neither will my children.
That's what I keep thinking too. I understand some people have a hard time speaking up. But a lot of these people had no problem recording the videos and posting them online for other people to see. It's just sad because there are crappy salons everywhere, but there are also really great ones and a lot of these videos aren't helping the good ones, that's for sure.
I’ve been doing my own nails first with press on since the end of 2022 and fast forward 2024, I’m pretty much I’m an expert! I don’t get cut, bloody and my nails last 4-6 weeks! I get to relax, watch movies in the comfort of my home, making the experience enjoyable! I’m not dealing with this nonsense anymore
I'm a cosmetologist and we have to learn about basic manicures and pedicures and all the diseases you can give your clients if you're not clean. That chapter of the text book was HORRIFYING! I don't get manicures or pedicures unless I've already scoped out the salon and read all their reviews. It's not worth potentially getting a bloodborne disease like hepatitis. Also, love your videos Jodi! 💕🌴💕
Thanks for the insight👏🏾…You should drop your location if you are taking new clients, you may never know 😊 I’m happy you’re enjoying the content. Thanks for watching
I’m a nail tech and in my salon it’s my policy to change whatever it is they don’t like, no matter how much it might seem like they’re being too picky. I want people to walk out there loving their nails to the point where they’ll be more likely to want to show them off and then tell people where they got them done. Nothing is too much trouble for me to fix or change or do for you, this is how almost every new client I get ends up being a return client and my books are always full.

I’ve been getting my nails done (acrylics) for close to 40 years. The one common mistake I see with most of the fails is these girls do not make an appointment with the salon. When you pop in to a salon and expect a full set expect to be squeezed in between appointments; which means the nail tech is rushed. Another reason to plan ahead and make an appointment is you can select the nail tech you want to work on your nails. If you’re a walk-in it’s possible you will get the new person.
I know 😂😂 that part had me so mad when I listened. But some ppl realllly struggle with confrontation and would rather be quiet than say something no matter how bad it is. I can't fathom it either.
That’s what I’m saying…but not everyone is confrontational. I could never sit through that, pay them, tip them, run to my car, take out my phone, hit record and start hollering 😭😢
My thoughts exactly. As soon as someone notices things looking wonky they could just gently mention it and have it corrected before they would have to worry about being “confrontational”. IDGAF how subservient or demure women are supposed to be, no one is going to eff my isht up and expect me to pay even $10 let alone $100 😜 I do my own “beauty related” services, but regardless, mama didn’t raise a damn doormat, okurrrr? 😘 Ladies if you don’t speak up for yourself and want to wait for someone else to speak for you…. Just prepare to settle for a disappointing, depressed, and self conscious existence. When we both know that you are a queen and deserve much more for yourself.
I make $200 an hour as a doctor. I work 12 hr shifts 4 days a week. I pay $55-60to get a manicure and tip $5-10. How is it that other people that have jobs paying $15 an hour do $200 nails every 15 days. It is not very smart to waste your money if your nails cost a couple days of your work.
I got a fungal infection from a nail salon. My last appointment, I was supposed to get powder dipped nails and ended up walking out. The nails were SO thick! He just kept adding more product and told me to trust… hour and a half later- I had a panic attack. Nails weren’t getting any better and I felt trapped in the chair.
I believe that many foreign women working in nail salons are slave labor. They get told they will have to repay the cost to get to America & their board. They aren't licensed. This is not for ALL Asian salons, but if the quality is this bad then they could be trafficked.
The woman who had nails last 24 hours for 105 She could have waited tho til they were open again Coz I mean she ain’t gonna refund you without seeing them if you go get them somewhere else in between she can’t check that this actually happened So I’m with the business woman in this She’s not gonna fix someone else’s wor the woman is wrong here
The nailtech at 1:02:00 is just...wow. it is seriously amazing just how professional she was. Literally she was so polite and composed the whole time no matter what that client threw at her. She clearly cares a lot about what she does and making sure she can give her clients the best experience she can. She seems like a wonderful nail tech and id love to go to her if i could!
That lady shouldn't have gone to another business to get the mistakes fixed! She should of gone back the next day to the 1st nail tech to get the work corrected! The shop owner is correct while saying "we don't fix other businesses nail tech's work!"
Sometimes I think what happens is people go on social media and see beautifully detailed nails with complicated designs done by highly skilled nail techs and they take inspo pictures of the nails to their local neighborhood nail salon to ask for something similar, but the nail techs in these local everyday salons don't have the skill for such complicated designs and when they attempt to do the nails in the inspo picture they fall short leaving their client unhappy. If nail techs were honest about their skill level, with themselves and their clients, it would save situations like the ones in these videos from happening.
7:25 I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND those walk in places NOT UPDATING their business hours online… so annoying!!!! The times online never match when they “decide” to finally open😑Also, that customer had a 💯 legit complaint, but she should have waited till they open back up to show them how poorly they did her nails. Then I believe the “owner” would have felt obliged to redo and/or give full refund.
I ended up with a toenail fungus after getting a pedicure at a Orlando nail salon. I have never done that again, as a matter of fact i do not get my nails done ever. I keep them short and practical and the same with my toes. And ever since i got the toe nail fungus, it occasionally recurs, and im very diligent about the care of my feet. Very nasty and will not ever do it again.
I also never get my nails done. For me it’s personal, I do not like ppl touching me and I have serious trust issues so yeah, my nails are short, clean, and healthy 😂
The SECOND that nail tech said “you talking to me” I knew she was in the wrong. She didn’t give a hot damn what the client wanted, even when the client is telling her repeatedly what she wants. The nail tech went out of her way to ignore her and then tried to charge her over $100? She can call the cops all she wants, the client had her on camera ignoring her requests and giving her attitude. She doesn’t deserve to get paid at all let alone 50%, that client was being generous.
I’m so happy I’ve been doing since I was like 13(I’m 33 now) and do my own hair. I do my own eyebrows, own nails, everything I do myself because I refuse to give these businesses that get rich off of our ppl but treat us like shit! This alway amazes me 🙄
The tech in third video was correct. The customer went somewhere else for her nails and has no right to demand. Refund, a removal, and whole new nail set.
42:00 how on earth did the nail tech think that gap is okay? it’s the perfect recipe for bacteria & fungus to grow like girl what a nail tech should know that. i’m self taught & do my own nails & not even that great & even i know that. use a different tip or add extra gel glue to fill that in bc that can ruin your natural nail due to bacteria
This video is divided into two sections: "Nail Professionals" being the clients' nightmare and the "clients" being the nail professionals' nightmare. Honestly, as a nail professional I have to say that some of the nails in this video didn't even look bad...I don't understand the drama of many of these girls...
I feel better about my meltdown after TWO botched haircuts in one day! I had an overgrown pixie cut and just needed them to shorten to the existing cut. I looked like an SNL skit, so I ask for it to be fixed. They tell me to come back for the owner to fix, and I'm not lying when I say I looked like I was joining a 90s boy band when she was done. I was in TEARS when I left. Found a drag queen hair dresser the next day who hugged me before smacking me with magic. Wherever you are Rosie... I adore you still!
Girl same, sometimes I get so pissed I'll have a cool design idea and KNOW I can pull it off on the left hand but not the right. My mom's freaking ambidextrous but the gene must have missed me lol.
“Trust the process” only applies to someone who has earned your trust. Until the person working on you has demonstrated their skills and ability to listen to your wishes/execute your vision, you should be carefully supervising the work and speaking up if something is not what it should be. Trust the process is an earned privilege, not a right.
Had a lady offer me 20% off because I came to her new salon. I got a fill and a pedicure. She cut the biggest chunk out of my foot. She said oh it's because I am not use to these tools. Hence she bought the salon from someone else and had their equipment. She stopped the bleeding and then still only gave me 20% off. I couldn't wear anything but slides for 2 weeks.
Did you go to a podiatrist/walk in clinic? Sounds like an infection. Can't eff around with that. Find out immediately so you can stop it from being bad.
Instead of just sitting there and recording, let's practice the art of saying stop, moving your body, and getting up. Stop sitting through horrible and possibly dangerous experiences getting the service completed only to cry about how bad something was to post on social media later
I don’t understand, sitting all the way through some bad service, I mean all the way through some bad service while she is steadily messing it up before you’re very eyes, and then giving her money and then going out to your car and complaining and crying. I’ve been going to the same nail tech for several years. She’s really good. But the one fault she has is she doesn’t clean good enough under the nails with the drill sometimes ,when I see that she doesn’t do it, BEFORE SHE CONTINUES I ask her to go back and clean it better underneath my nails, and then she can proceed. If I see anything else that’s slightly off, I ask her to fix it, and she does. I tip her every time for a good job. a couple of times that I did not tip her was when I had to ask her something small and she wanted to give me words. She did what I asked her those couple of times, but she acted like she didn’t like me telling her. I think a couple of the nails were uneven, or I asked her about my cuticles on a couple of my fingers. I didn’t tip her at all. recently, I got chrome color put on the tip of my nails for a special occasion. And because the gold colored color was too light and I wanted it darker gold, she had to color my tips black first and then put the gold powder over the black. By the time I got home, I noticed on the edge of my thumb The gold was trying to flake off of that nail. By the next day, it was flaking off in small areas on three of my nails. I called and explained to the manager that I was gonna come back in for her to fix it. She said that she was gone, but she would be back in the day after that. So I came back and I told her she needed time to fix it, that I had talked to the manager. I didn’t have to pay for anything.
33:28 you seem.....let me be nice because yeah! You are CRYING over nails🫣😑 this is sad! You had a gold spoon shoved in your mouth! Crying over nails! My mom died.....😑🤷🏽♀️

The last lady is absolutely disgusting the nail tech is so sweet she took her time she even wiped literally nothing off to make sure the client was happy n she’s full on trying to rip off the nail tech
Greetings Jodi, love your channel. This topic needs to be discussed because these nail techs are very unsanitary and expensive... My mother-in-Law ended up with a really bad toe nail infection, so bad her nail turned black and fell off and she also had to take antibiotics for some time to get rid of the infection in her toes...😢 the sad part is she told me that, she saw them using dirty brushes and instruments yet she said nothing cause she didn't want to argue... *Ladies if the nail tech is unsanitary, or not properly doing your nails say something or leave... You can get your point across without arguing!!*
I found a true Gem. I had to sit over a hour to get my nails to come off 😂 she did beautiful work. The funny part is even though the place stayed full and long lines, most people didn’t realize how good she was. Great for me
All of it's ugly. The first girl had hideous lashes, obnoxious piercings, and messed up nails just to match. Wouldn't it make more sense to use the press ons they have these days? Hygienically none of that junk makes sense, though.
When you look at reviews and ratings you have to check how many reviews there was and the year they did the review. Because if only 2 people go on there and give them 5 stars they will have a 5 rating and if it was from 2yrs ago believe me the people might not even be the same workers or they got lazy. Never let them use a dirty item on you!! As soon as you see them do it get up tell them what they did wrong and walk out!!
I do my own pedicures but this is making me more mindful to clean my stuff more thoroughly... I never really thought about the possibility of giving myself an infection 😵
I went to someone that as RECOMMENDED to me to get my wedding nails done…. 2 days before my wedding… girl she held my fingers upright and filed backwards and forwards like she was doing woodwork…. It felt awful… the design was bad too…. I went to a salon I drove past and they were lovely, and fixed them… thank god
If you get your nails done at one salon and it messes up, don’t go to someone else to fix it. You automatically lose your warranty when someone else touches your nails. Nail salons have been scammed plenty of times from people saying they broke but got them fixed somewhere else.
My worst experience was in Bloomington Illinois (i dont remember the name of the salon). After i got my nails done, they were cute and the colour I wanted, but they used illegal acrylic (MMA, i had no idea until i researched my symptoms later) and my nails turned yellow, got infected, bled, and hurt BAD. It felt like the acrylics were squeezing and crushing my natural nails. It took 5 hours to soak them off because it would harden almost immediately after i took them out the acetone. Started doing my own acrylics, gels, and press ons. Never doing a nail salon again.
Well... That's the reason I learned to do my own nails. Saves a hell lot of dough. And always looking right. The cost of all the equipment and polishes was like three visits to the salon. And I've been doing my own nails for 2 years now. And I only purchased two sets of base and top since the beginning, since I'm not big on tips and designs🤷♀️
After watching a CC who’s a nail tech that focuses primarily on nail hygiene, I stopped going to these nail salons. All they want is the money. Rush the job, poor sanitation & they don’t care about the health of our nails.
And they only know how to do French tips then adds $10 for every nail art line. So you finish with 2 curved lines and 3 dots on ONE NAIL ON ONE HAND and that was like +$50. And then they ask you do you know what a tip is so I swearing to them in my native Spanish language until it is so loud NOBODY ELSE WILL WALK IN!!! 🤬
I started doing my own nails. Gel x. Bc acrylic isn’t my commitment. Tried a nail shop after YEARS of not going and not only did they burn me, drill to the meat and make me bleed, took of MY nail length even when I asked not to, but I had to pay over $100. I bought my own things and it’s much better 😊
It has to be because AINT NO WAY I would be sitting there allowing that woman to continue anything on hands lmao 🤣 I was SHOCKED I couldn't believe the shit was real...I'm glad I'm not the only one 😮
What I wanna know, why is getting your nails done in America and neighbors there, so much expensive? Here in Austria a full long stiletto nail with design, diamonds, painted on, each finger did differently costs about 80 euros. These sets shown here would cost in Austria about 30-40 euros. We in Austria handle it that way, if you go for your ever first fill, you pay around 40-60 euros. That means, no tips no nothing, it is everything shaped and done from the beginning, design also Included. When you go there the second time you do your fill up and that Costs about 20-40 euros, design included and from there on is always the same price, it doesn't matter what you choose, if french tips or a full blown painting. That's the price and when I say fill up I don't mean " okey I lost here and there a filling" no, if you would wait till all your nails fall off, you would pay always that price from the second appointment on. Sure, there are out here specialist who have theyre own nail salon with expensive sets going up from 100 euros BUUUUUUT .... Those salons are more reserved to popular people like influencers, singers, actresses ect. A normal person like those in the vid go to a "normal" salon and the prices are always in this price range.
The second video definitely is a skit. Ain't no way! I don't believe it.
Must be…😂🤣
I think so too; I'm pretty sure my 8 yr old could manage a better set without any practice. 36:12 she’s very dramatic. Her nails do not even look bad….. at all.
I literally came to say this
Yes! Was gonna say the same!
She mentioned that she doesn't want to get file/shape or anything after having acrylic put on her nails, which is why they may appear slightly thick and uneven. If the acrylic powder isn't applied close to the cuticle, she can simply request for it to be filled in a bit.
I was thinking the same thing. Like get a real problem.
It's not half bad and kind of cute.
This is why I do my own everything!
Ev-e-ry-thing 💯
We used to pay to get pampered now we’re paying for pain 😢
Exactly. My own nails, lashes and hair. I don't have time for these games. And I'm not paying for the foolishness.
YES!
Same here
I can’t lie. That clip at 4:59 that lady in the black shit wasn’t wrong. If I go to a nail shop and one is messed up and I go somewhere else to have them fixed and come back to that salon and they don’t refund me why would I be upset she should have went right back there and no ain’t no restaurant doing what that lady said 😂😂
Exactly! I actually agreed with her over the client..
I agree but the salon needs to adjust their opening hours on Google. That’s why she went elsewhere
Lmao I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that
4:58 > I agreed with the nail tech over the client ! Why would want someone to redo your nails when you got them done somewhere else ! Girl it’s embarrassing! Just sad
She could have wait one day so she's proof they've make mistake! Once you're go otherelse you have no proof
I have NEVER seen anything like this and Ive been going to the nail salon for 40 years. WHY would you stay at such a filthy place and allow them to work on your hands or feet??
Some ladies aren’t that privileged to get good service and if you realize the pattern with these ladies- they are all afraid to speak up 🙁
@@JodiTheIslandGirl Thats crazy, if I am paying for a service and I can see early in the service that you are not up to par ... im stopping you and i am leaving.
Imagine being the child of someone weak like that who can’t even advocate for themselves over something as vain as fake nails…
I feel not sympathy for them.
Ugh, and neither will my children.
i empathize with them as i can be that way too, not speaking up for myself. confrontation gives me SEVERE anxiety 😬 lol
Me, too, girl. Right there with you.
HEPATITISSSSSSS!?!?!?!??
I didn't know it could be that bad... at worst I thought just a bacterial infection.. yikes
Please let me know the name of the Textbook for me to study
I’m a nail tech and in my salon it’s my policy to change whatever it is they don’t like, no matter how much it might seem like they’re being too picky. I want people to walk out there loving their nails to the point where they’ll be more likely to want to show them off and then tell people where they got them done. Nothing is too much trouble for me to fix or change or do for you, this is how almost every new client I get ends up being a return client and my books are always full.
WHY, WHY, WHY don't these women SPEAK UP when they see the nail tech making mistakes, instead of staying quiet!!!
Women get taught from a very young age to be painfully compliant and care for others before themselves unfortunately. Girls, it may save your life some day to MAKE A SCENE AND BE RUDE. start speaking up, better to look like a jerk than to be hurt!! 🎉
@@boopbooperson1654victim mentality that’s no excuse. Because when they leave why is there two different side, but when they pull up a camera their big and bold….

In Australia we don’t have to tip same thing full set $50-60 if design and long maybe $90 but u don’t have to tip they make enough already 😢
I so agree
The clip at 7:00 I agree with the nail tech. She went somewhere else to get them fixed then came back and expected a refund … ummm no it doesn’t work that way
The girl crying the one that left the salon midway the nails don’t even look bad lol😂 she could of said that she wanted the acrylic tight to her cuticle 🤣
Omg. She has me TIGHT 😂 like she seriously made me so angry 😂😂😂😂😂😂

When she showed up close I LAUGHED
DUDE RIGHT?!?! I was scrolling until I found this comment because I know I’m not the only one who thought her longgg dragged out story and unnecessarily balling about it was ridiculous. She’s probably a sociopath, “I’m really particular about my nails” means gtfo of my chair I will not be servicing you today. 😂

Clearly that woman and nail tech playing for likes. Cause ain’t no way she sit through that.😂😂😊
Exactly I don't believe she sat thru that and didn't say nothing the owner.
I really hope so 😂🤣
It must have been a skit 😂😅
My MIL "Girl I can't believe you don't get your nails done" Also my MIL: Lost a toenail to an infection and had a black pinky finger for the same reason lol
Omg did she go to a doctor???
@@ssplague She did, they said the infection could have spread. She had a cut on her toe and dirty water caused the infection. Probably the same with her finger!
😧
I can't believe that lady continued letting her do the nails when they looked like claws and she said they ran out of polish
The look on my face watching that whole experience now hurts very badly
😂🤣😂
That one was obviously fake. It couldn't have been more obvious. Are you serious?
I’ve been getting my nails done (acrylics) for close to 40 years. The one common mistake I see with most of the fails is these girls do not make an appointment with the salon. When you pop in to a salon and expect a full set expect to be squeezed in between appointments; which means the nail tech is rushed. Another reason to plan ahead and make an appointment is you can select the nail tech you want to work on your nails. If you’re a walk-in it’s possible you will get the new person.
I don’t understand how you have to pay the person more money for them to correct their own mistake 😡shouldn’t they correct their mistake for free
Makes good sense 🤔❤
6:39 sis is embarrassing self just take the L and go. Write your Google review and not go back.
2:46 this has to be a skit, ain't no way 😂
There is no way....😮
It’s crazy! 🤣
😂😂😂😂. I would have poured that polish out.
As fake as my will to go to work 🙃
She had way too much of the liquid on the brush before
I'm sorry I am not going to be crying abut my nails once you see someone making a mistake say something, don't sit and not say anything.
What you earn in a month is many peoples annual salary. And you tip sooo low?? Cheap much?
I got a fungal infection from a nail salon. My last appointment, I was supposed to get powder dipped nails and ended up walking out. The nails were SO thick! He just kept adding more product and told me to trust… hour and a half later- I had a panic attack. Nails weren’t getting any better and I felt trapped in the chair.
The lady that added 2 tips.. I would have not paid for
That at all! You have got to be kidding me.. she should not be doing nails !
I'm struggling to believe that video was even real.
I believe that many foreign women working in nail salons are slave labor. They get told they will have to repay the cost to get to America & their board. They aren't licensed. This is not for ALL Asian salons, but if the quality is this bad then they could be trafficked.
That video was fake
Was it … lol 😂
This video is absolutely giving me mental distress 😂 the scenario at 3 mins has my jaw on the floor
If I didn’t see it, I would believe it 😂
The woman who had nails last 24 hours for 105
She could have waited tho til they were open again
Coz I mean she ain’t gonna refund you without seeing them if you go get them somewhere else in between she can’t check that this actually happened
So I’m with the business woman in this
She’s not gonna fix someone else’s wor the woman is wrong here
The nailtech at 1:02:00 is just...wow. it is seriously amazing just how professional she was. Literally she was so polite and composed the whole time no matter what that client threw at her. She clearly cares a lot about what she does and making sure she can give her clients the best experience she can. She seems like a wonderful nail tech and id love to go to her if i could!
That definitely was a skit
It amazes me how people can’t just say they don’t like something. They’d rather PAY and cry in the car than make people fix a problem. Speak!!!
That lady shouldn't have gone to another business to get the mistakes fixed! She should of gone back the next day to the 1st nail tech to get the work corrected! The shop owner is correct while saying "we don't fix other businesses nail tech's work!"
The third woman was wrong. She was talking over the salon owner and waited 24 hours instead of addressing it the same day. She is a clown. 😂
Then she went somewhere else to get her nails redone then comes back to that salon for a refund lol like huh
💯 Honesty is & always will be the BEST policy 😇
This why I’m starting learn to my own hair and nails. Then teach my baby girl😅
Some of these people need to learn how to stand up for themselves. You gotta grow a backbone.
Especially when our hard earned money goes to these businesses! At least do a good job!
Oh wow…im so sorry 😢
@JodiTheIslandGirl it's ok. I save money doing that and I get my hair done and massages, which are a better investment for me. Thanks 😀
Did you go to the doc for an anti fungal pill?
@@Web-Diane no took care of it at home
This alway amazes me 🙄
I do my own nails. I buy square kiss nails at Walmart.8$ for a box. They last about 2 wks. I get 4 sets per People compliment my nails constantly.
Kiss nails are the best. The only ones I use. I got a whole stash of them 😆
The tech in third video was correct.
3:58 Def a skit 😂😂😂 That filing HA
Girl i really hope so 😂😂
But it's always "TRUST THE PROCESS "! LOLLL❤❤❤❤
This video is divided into two sections: "Nail Professionals" being the clients' nightmare and the "clients" being the nail professionals' nightmare.
Honestly, as a nail professional I have to say that some of the nails in this video didn't even look bad...I don't understand the drama of many of these girls...
When ive spoken up the nail techs ... They get really angry if u try and correct their mistakes...dnt get them done anymore!!!! Do my own ❤
I feel better about my meltdown after TWO botched haircuts in one day!
3 video, I agree not giving a refund if you went to another shop.
You are now not able to show what the problem was.
It's been nearly 2 decades,and 200$ cheaper since my last acrylics 😅
Cheaper? 😟😳
@@JodiTheIslandGirl haha it's was 25$ back then, I spoke incorrectly
22:38 i swear i wish my left hand could get my right hand together 😂 ... my left hand be soooo fire and my right be like hide me
Girl same, sometimes I get so pissed I'll have a cool design idea and KNOW I can pull it off on the left hand but not the right.
😮💔
What?! 😳😳😳
Nooo normalize not paying to be injured because I’m not paying id love to let the police come so we can both calmly explain and let them decide!
@@mentalalchemy4819I woulda called the cops as well. For real.
Did you go to a podiatrist/walk in clinic? Sounds like an infection. Can't eff around with that. Find out immediately so you can stop it from being bad.
The fact that the mani/pedi is done without gloves is repulsive
Stop watching nail horror stories just to judge them. The fuck?
Wouldn't have fixed or refunded work that someone got at another nail shop either!! That's just crazy ridiculous 🤨
Why should you tip them? Just pay them the service fee. You are not even satisfied with the disgusting service they provide. This is disgusting and 20%base ?!!this IS crazy
1st you got me hooked with the hair stylist horror stories now we're moving on to nails. I've never had anyone do my nails so I'm learning what to look out for in case I ever do.
This is exactly why I learned to do my own nails and lashes at home.
I just started doing beetles gel extensions at home. I took my first set off after a month and had practically no grow out. They're so strong and pretty, i even do my housemate's nails too💅🏻
This is breaking my heart to see these beautiful women being hustled and robbed. Worse yet, they don’t know how to resolve the issue and continue to go back for more. It’s heartbreaking, Those nail Vietnamese nail shops treat their clients like trash.

The second video was HILARIOUS!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Maybe the blond haired girl should have talked to the nail tech instead of everyone else about how much she disliked her nails!! OMG!!

There's your answer
I found a true Gem. I had to sit over a hour to get my nails to come off 😂 she did beautiful work. The funny part is even though the place stayed full and long lines, most people didn’t realize how good she was. Great for me
Please tell me that the 1:02:09 situation is not real. The customer is being so nasty it’s stunning, and the tech has such composure
I think it felt fake myself
That third lady was wrong how you gonna have someone fix your nails then expect a refund the next day from the first people who did your nails 😂
Absolutely, if she didn’t go somewhere else the tech would have redone them. Why didn’t she just get press ons til the salon was open
30:36 that lady is so unbelievably polite and patient. She handles everything so calmly, I don't know how she does it. Kudos to her! ❤❤
All of it's ugly. The first girl had hideous lashes, obnoxious piercings, and messed up nails just to match. Wouldn't it make more sense to use the press ons they have these days? Hygienically none of that junk makes sense, though.
Yep more people need to get with the press ons. Theyre not that bad if you know how to do it
😂😂😂😂
I'm new and I'm loving all the content you bring. Well done 👏 😊 x
The best friend one i was actually thinking they look really good lol 😂❤
MDMA as in the illegal DRUG?!?!? Wtf!
@@ssplague Nooooo 💀 I didn't realise auto correct did me dirty lmao it's MMA.
"why does this only happen to me?"
Well you're the only one who would sit down with a stranger who isn't the woman you booked with....so...
Ladies press on nails are amazing
"relax the finger" girl, there's no way she can relax the finger when you're making her anxious.
Salons seem so environmentally wasteful with the amount of things they have to throw away. Refund chick was... entitled.
After watching a CC who’s a nail tech that focuses primarily on nail hygiene, I stopped going to these nail salons. All they want is the money. Rush the job, poor sanitation & they don’t care about the health of our nails.
It’s all a money grab…no real care for their clients
This is why I do my own. Not perfect, but definitely not a rip off
🌴🌴🌴just discovered your channel and I LOOOOVE it. Today will be binge watching for sure ❤️
I’ve only found your channel today 😢 girl where have you been 😊 I’m loving these videos ❤❤❤
These make me feel better about ALWAYS having a bad experience and having to go home and fix them!!
I just do them myself now.
The Second 😅 wheww SUPER HILARIOUS 😂😂😂 I'M Hollín!
Honestly I stopped going to Asian Nail tech's long ago. They will play right in your face and talk shit too.
@19:12 tht purple looks so good on her skin wow💜
I started doing my own nails. Gel x. Bc acrylic isn’t my commitment. Tried a nail shop after YEARS of not going and not only did they burn me, drill to the meat and make me bleed, took of MY nail length even when I asked not to, but I had to pay over $100. I bought my own things and it’s much better 😊
3:32 this is satire, correct? 😮
It has to be because AINT NO WAY I would be sitting there allowing that woman to continue anything on hands lmao 🤣 I was SHOCKED I couldn't believe the shit was real...I'm glad I'm not the only one 😮
Yea this definitely sounds like a JOKE 🤣🤣🤣
I hope so
What I wanna know, why is getting your nails done in America and neighbors there, so much expensive?
