Just an update on my Boderry Voyager Field Watch. I have had it for a week now and so far it loses about 1 second a day, which is really impressive for a watch at this price point. Once I got the NATO nylon band formed to my wrist it wears comfortable. It is so light I sometimes forget that I am even wearing it. The finish on the watch is impeccable and looks good on the wrist. My son ordered the titanium bracelet for it for me and I should have that in about another week. I would have to say if the performance holds I would prefer this watch over Bertucci and not just for the price point, but that does bring the overall value into focus for me. I get a field watch that has impressive specs for under $100 and it performs, so far, flawlessly. Thanks again for this video upload.
Hey Boderry guys….please bring a bronze strap for voyager I had a green bronze voyager and i believe a bronze strap will be another level for this beautiful watch
Hi Boderry, please make the Voyager range with a VH31 quartz or sweeping equivalent and so it's cheaper, thinner, accurate and more symmetrical because no date window.
Indeed but the Boderry has a Seiko automatic movement which are known workhorses being dependable, durable, inexpensive; the three most important traits to have in a field watch. If you already have a Bertucci I'm sure it's difficult to justify buying this watch just for the automatic movement. However, for the price, it's way better than a Bertucci. I think the Bertucci watch this Boderry is inspired by is far more expensive than it should be for a quartz miyota movement that's a cheap movement in the quartz world. So value for money is definitely better with the Boderry voyager.
I own two Bertucci field watches and they are good watches. I have ordered the Boderry Voyager and look forward to checking it out when it arrives tomorrow. I will say this about Bertucci, they need to up their game for me to return as a customer. They assemble their watch from parts bought from China and other countries, they only recently started making an inhouse movement, I hear it is a good movement. Nevertheless, their price points are getting too high for what you actually get. If the Voyager turns out to be as good as the reviews say it is Boderry has a new customer and Bertucci has lost a customer. I have many other watches made by other companies, but when it comes to my rugged everyday out in the woods watch I stick with a field watch, we will see which field watch that turns out to be. I also like the fact that it comes with a Seiko NH35 movement, which can be bought for about 20 bucks online, so keeping this watch going for years to come won't be an issue either and will be really cheap to do that as I can swap the movement myself.
@@torgomaxlooks like an awesome watch, pricey, but awesome. I just cannot shake this affinity I have for the mechanical watches, I've had it since I was a kid. Solar is definitely a good choice in avoiding having to replace batteries. Although my A1S battery lasted over 5 years before I had to replace it. Let me know if you get it and what you think of it for sure.
@@stauguastine Thanks for getting back to me👍This will be my first solar watch. I was thinking about getting a Marathon navigator $400 plastic with tritium lume but don't really want to spend that much on a plastic watch👀💥
@@torgomax I just pulled the trigger on the Rdunae RX2X Seiko 6105-8110 Captain Willard homage watch. $150. I would love to have an original or the reintroduction of that watch from Seiko but who can afford those. lol I have read some great reviews of the Rdunae though.
Don't buy this watch! The watch and the brand are absolute garbage. Boderry does not adhere to their own warranty conditions. In the event of a defect you are not entitled to anything.
