foot pain is weirder? how about 6 years of pain in the foot. MRI and every neurophysical test done, no issues. Flying colors on everything. Even after re-learning how to walk for 2 years and pain still persists. That is weirder.
Relate totally to this and thanks for practical advice. Neither my physio nor the surgeon who wants to reduce the length of my 2nd toe ( illustration perfect) have ever mentioned such specific exercices. I'm starting tomorrow.
You should also look into barefoot walking, barefoot shoes, minimalist shoes, or foot-shaped shoes. Much foot deformity comes from the cramped space they are shoved into on a daily basis
Don't do sirgery until uou try and strengthening your toes amd feet by tryi g these exercises for example and buy toespacers and shoes with wide toeboxes amd try walk around barefopt or at least in socks as much as possible
i notcied after sticking with these 11 double wide boots, my feet slowly started filling them in, now they're a comfortable fit, and i have much less foot pain!
Backward and forward sleds is the easiest way to incorporate foot strengthening into a workout without having to do separate exercises. It’ll hit everything in the lower body. Go heavy 1.5x body weight , go slow 30-45 seconds each way, go barefoot OR barefoot shoes.
Here for this foot revolution. My feet are irreparably screwed up because of narrow shoes and unsupportive sandals and heels. I want the whole society to head towards very wide shoes because we’re so conditioned to think that pointy and narrow is beautiful while it’s ruining our natural ability and design of our feet. We can condition ourselves back to how it was before this pointy toed mess. I literally can’t find one decent office shoe for women in corporate jobs. None of the outfits go with any shoe with a wide toe box
You actually don't want your shoes to be supportive if you want to mimic barefoot walking. Something like a pair of earthrunners is great for your feet but has no support at all. It just lets you spread your toes, which activates your arches.
That's great advice for people with flat feet and problems, but do you think someone like my mom who's been crushing her feet basicallt for 30 years could still fix it after that much time?
I tried the big toe up and down exercises and I don’t really get it… are you supposed to stretch them pull them idk really get the movement. I would really appreciate some explanation 💪
@@callmeloro I went through several pairs of shoes before I found a pair that somewhat helped... sketchers helped...and I also got a pair of compression socks (specifically for plantar...the heel is cut out and the toes...)I wore them whenever i wasn't wearing the shoes.. and foot extension exercises whenever I would sit . It was a long process, but eventually it got better I know that pain very well... I'm sending you all the encouragement, and love 💙
My feet are probably the strongest part of my body pound for pound. Walking and running around without shoes will cause your toes to splay out like that… makes picking things up off the floor way easier.
I started working out in barefoot shoes while wearing toe spreaders. Changed my whole perspective on working out. I couldn’t do lunges before because of plantar fasciitis and turf toe. It stung for a bit, then the pain subsided. I’m never going back and I own over 60 pairs of sneakers.
Just run different terrain, less complicated and functional. Hike even. To get more robust and more flexible feet, you have to use them for their intended purpose.
It's genetics like double joints. Most humans will not be able to articulate and have this much control over their toes no matter what training. The fibers and tendons aren't there for most humans.
I've been doing this to help with balance and strength, foot, and ankles. The only thing is i broke my foot years ago and never went to the doctors. Now, my two smallest toes dont touch the ground. Hopefully, these exercises will help me out. I'll let you know bc i know you really care about my health.
It's borderline medical malpractice for MDs & physical therapists NOT to include foot & ankle strength exercises for patients with chronic knee and hip pain. I have osteoarthritis in left hip. Everytime ive done foot and ankle exercises i immediately feel hip and knee muscles also getting activated and strengthened. But discovered this indirectly. my doctor nor my physical therapist NEVER prescribed foot and ankle exercises to treat my hip pain.
I have first mtp joint issues. I believe lingering effects from hyperextensions. Feels posaibly nerve related also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
To those Who never knows this pain, hope you never feel it, no more motivation for doing sports, no good sleep, always feeling the blood explosion of your feet, & to heal from that is looooooong way of treatment , the only thing that makes you feel better for few hours/day is ice/cold water! 😣
I wear vibram 5 fingers constantly. I have zero foot or toe problems at all. Feet were not designed to be immobilized in overly padded tight shoes all day every day
The true first step: gwt new shoes! Purchase minimalist shoes! I am wearing mine now and its been a year. This is the beat passive rehabilitation for your cooped up feet!!
So what can we do to strengthen the ankle and calf? I almost felt a tear on the bottom of my foot and my doc said there are a lot muscles lacking in my ankle area and calf.
Ive run barefoot for years (christ not on concrete except for maybe briefly crossing a path) and this all kind of happened naturally. I mean my toes move all over the place grabbing terrain. And can confirm because people look at me weird.
You NEED to wear wide toe shoes. If not, these exercises only provide temporary relief. It's better than nothing, but they are pointless if you'll be wearing tight shoes for 8+ hrs
I gone barefoot after plantar fascite that was painful in both feet, for one year I did transition (painful too) and I will not came back, the triangle is so good. I am sorry for all the children that are educate to damage their feet. Thank-you for your videos. Good karma to you.

87% lol what a weird number wtf
Not weird, just not talked about🤷🏽♀️
Thank you so much, this is perfect for my foot recovery. I actually just broke my left big toe metatarsal and this is perfect for physical therapy.

Will you share the brand names for the foot gloves and toe spacers? or do you sell them?
Never skip foot day
Funny I never questioned the strength of my feet until this video

How do you reduce the length of your toe 😳
@@paige3691 exactly! By shaving it, I imagine !! That's why I want to avoid surgery 🫣

Toe length reduction sounds extreme and likely not necessary.

I will definitely watch this my shoes too narrow too small tucked my feet and I have injured my sciatica because of it and multiple back injuries

Wear chappal or sandal then with adjustable side straps
Belenka or vivobarefoot
Unsupportive sandals and walking barefoot are the best. Don't blame the poor sandals 😢
Good exercises thanks
Ghastly music!
Great tips tbh, I got siatica and hip problems, sometimes warming up my feet with a ball helps the connective tissue in my legs.
Thank you for the foot exercises FOOTage
Like two weeks ago had a crazy pain in the bottom middle of my foot every time I took a step. Trying these today fs
This will easily be the most viewed video on your channel. Give it another few months. Wonderful cover.
Dawg I needed this
That's great advice for people with flat feet and problems, but do you think someone like my mom who's been crushing her feet basicallt for 30 years could still fix it after that much time?

So true!!! I had plantar fasciitis for TWO years....some nights i literally had to crawl to the restroom....never neglect your feet
What worked the best for you? I've also been struggling for 2 years

Got to add foot day to my workout regimine

With the exception of the calf raises - your mobilizing and stretching them.
how have billions of earthlings managed to survive and thrive without this for so long it's unbelievable 😂
Stretching the calf muscles has solved plantar fasciitis pain for me.
Thanks brother
Also foot stretching is godlike
Subbed immediately 💪🔥💯
Also ankle mobility is important and try to do ankle mobility exercises
I use to do stuff like this as a kid all the time. Guess I was working out all along
The thing I don’t understand is why surgeons and PTs would rather recommend risky surgeries to their clients than proper specific rehab.
My toe spacers help the foot pain.
I used to do this thing called velociraptor toes (named it myself as a kid who loved dinos) I’d raise my big toe apart from the others
Can you explain step 4 and 5 on exactly how to do it??? 0:24
Altra running shoes are amazing
Thank you! This can easily be done at home 🙌
Plantar fasciitis sleeves alone fixed my plantar fasciitis. Couldn't pinpoint how I got it in the first place though

When foot pain is present it sure takes a long time and lotsa work to alleviate it.
I’m so traumatized by squat university…
It’s so true. We have been constricted in our shoes for so long 🤦🏼♂️
Need more foot mobility like this!!!!!! Where did you learn this
It's genetics like double joints. Most humans will not be able to articulate and have this much control over their toes no matter what training. The fibers and tendons aren't there for most humans.
Is there a video explaining exactly how to do these exercises?
I do shit like this on the days where I can’t do my normal split, never felt better.
Damn i would randomly do stuff like this subconsciously like i didn't know it had any benefits i just did it, glad to know it does
Strengthen feet is smart! And legs! We can't get around well if not

How it’s feeling bro? 11 days later🤗
Did your small toes touch each other
Honestly swimming can help with foot strength as weird as that sounds. You have to kick and push off the walls with intensity though.
The only socks to wear.. yes they are 15 a pair, but they last for 2 years, and prevent blisters..
No, do not roll under the foot for plantar fasciitis..
Usually don’t think about this , until you have an issue. Lessons learned.
Great quads bro!
This is straight up part of ballet training
I broke my big toe about a year ago and now it only bends about 30% what it should
my favourite is running barefoot- my toes & feet are jacked
Strengthen tibs aswell

And Doctors give me orthotics, "problem solved".
This could actually help my smaller toe are folding under the bigger ones

I only do that when i'm normally reaching with something high shelf
This seems less like strengthening and more like flexibity?
Except maybe the toe flexion

I don't exactly have a lacrosse ball lying around. Anything else I can use?
What socks are these. Think I need some toe socks that are all black tho

Never considered thinking about ever doing this for my feet. Lesrn something new all the time
So what can we do to strengthen the ankle and calf? I almost felt a tear on the bottom of my foot and my doc said there are a lot muscles lacking in my ankle area and calf.
Fast guy at parkrun got told to do calf raises with this toes hanging off the step
I don't care what anyone says them socks are the comfiest sock I've ever owned 😊❤
What socks are they
Thank you man
I wonder does training your hip flexor can make your leg measurements go up? Because i think the hip flexor is under the quad?
Does this help with arthritis or aggravate?
Thank god I don’t have foot pain and can avoid this weird foot exercising
Pointing whole toe down not foot up is key.
You know you're doing it right once you can lace your toes together like fingers.
Ive run barefoot for years (christ not on concrete except for maybe briefly crossing a path) and this all kind of happened naturally. I mean my toes move all over the place grabbing terrain.
And can confirm because people look at me weird.
What’s the stuff holding his toes together
Wearing barefoot shoes and strengthening my feet changed my life!
If you want to have less foot problems and ur lazy to do this just do barefoot most of the time if ur at home and wide shoes
You NEED to wear wide toe shoes. If not, these exercises only provide temporary relief.
It's better than nothing, but they are pointless if you'll be wearing tight shoes for 8+ hrs
Most people can't do these movements so you should include regressions brother.
How good does it feel tho when all the little muscle are activated
Never knew a foot can look strong

Step 1 already got my foot in knots and cramps 🧍🏻♂️
Fucked up thing my gym doesn't allow not wearing a shoe, says it's cause of risk of injury 😂😂
Barefooted skipping ususally does the trick for me.
That’s the last thing I want is shredded feet and neglecting my abs 😂
Protect the abs under a layer of fat 😂
I dont wanna do these cuz of possible cramps i will get just from doing them
Excellent. Thanking you now.
Man has hands for feet😮
Can someone please tell me what he is wearing in Step 1? The white thing which is probably separating the feet fingers?
Dios mío, que piernas!!!!! 🤩🤩
Nike Free Running Natural shoes are the best. You'll notice over time that your toes will begin to separate like they're supposed to be.
Could these be used for people with flat feet?
