As a hardcore Skyrim player, I would have to say this is very well done, i like the extra back story you gave to the Dovahkiin. I also like how you incorporated the vanilla start of the game, I appreciate the additional views, such as the scenes where you pan over the butchers block, or the outside of the carriages going down the hill. This is much more dramatic than the games vanilla. The extra footage of Alduins destruction of Helgen is much more in depth.

I'll be damned if this isn't the best movie i've seen all year. The story itself is exactly what an elder scrolls V fan would expect, but what really puts it over is the artistry with which it was displayed, i was especially impressed with the camera work (such dramatic transitions and angles!). I applaud you creator of this film, good show indeed

In fact, I could perform the whole thing in front of a crowd if I needed to. I HATED IT. Right now I'm almost in tears because of how sad and emotional the intro actually is supposed to be, and this fan-movie portrays is perfectly. I never thought I'd say this, but I almost want to play Skyrim again just for the intro.

I've seen a few people telling the story through the dragonborn's p.o.v but never using this sort of animation to tell it. btw those who are saying that there are parts missing that should have been in the clip, maybe you should think about how much time and effort it had taken for him to make this video.

Like in the caves with the spiders and the bear, and the imperial soldiers they fought, that would just make the whole escape from Helen be probably the longest part of the video. Besides, the fight with the draugr in bleak falls barrow was longer than it normally would take. In real gameplay you’d take him out in a minute, in the video it was much longer than that and made it look much more dramatic than in real gameplay.

...Wow, man. Just...wow. This was incredible. The prologue of the story, the way you cut the music, those breathtaking scenic shots, and the way you worked the camera and just...everything. You've managed to capture the magic of the Elder Scrolls franchise that some players have been struggling to find within the game itself. I'm eagerly awaiting the next two acts of the story. Incredible work, man. Incredible work.
Even after all of these years later this is still the best interpretation of Skyrim's story ever I hope if not Yongyea, someone will be willing to make act 3 one day. And hopefully do versions of the DLC, side stories and possibly Quest Mods.

I like a lot of the little things you added. Small tweaks like Lokir getting hit by two arrows, and on the back, rather than one in the foot. You also made that first Fus Ro Dah feel and sound super impactful. I love the way you depicted Draugr, the Dovahkiin's voice fits nicely. When you gave the Dovahkiin the armour he's depicted in, in all the promotional material, I was happy. It fits, with how he gets it as well. The fight on the tower felt way more epic, than the in-game battle =D. Really sells how powerful, Dragons are supposed to be.

Wow, this was really incredible. I loved the epic camera moves and the way you let the action take its time, something normally not seen in movies these days. The opening backstory with the moth priest was great. The two criticisms I have are the focus pumping and extremely high contrast and weird bokeh in the Riverwood segment. The picture just looked really bad there. I was also a little put off by Delphine's and Irileth's porcelain doll faces. But overall it was awesome.
This came out over a year ago. I'm shocked the second act isn't out yet. But then again, Yong has a personal life like everyone else. I'm really hoping for the next act soon. I've beat Skyrim twice already and know what's going to happen all the way through, I just love watching it in movie form the way this was envisioned. He did a brilliant job with it.

This was amazing. It was exellently paced as well. The draugr at the end was like a stronger mook that served as more of a challenge before the big fight with a dragon. The Dragonborns lines were great as well and added to his character and the beginning was very original, and the sequel hook was perfect. I can't wait for act two, and I'll be interested to see where that ends.
The cinematic views with the music at the right times were awesome. That boss battle with Mirmulnir at the end was best part in my opinion - very dramatic and awesome

If you run up to Alduin before he kills the man, he just flies away and the kid's dad lives. You have to run up to his head tho

I like a lot of the little things you added. Small tweaks like Lokir getting hit by two arrows, and on the back, rather than one in the foot. You also made that first Fus Ro Dah feel and sound super impactful. I love the way you depicted Draugr, the Dovahkiin's voice fits nicely. When you gave the Dovahkiin the armour he's depicted in, in all the promotional material, I was happy. It fits, with how he gets it as well. The fight on the tower felt way more epic, than the in-game battle =D. Really sells how powerful, Dragons are supposed to be.
I love how smoothly he puts it all together. Definitely my favorite Skyrim movie

Wow, this was really incredible. I loved the epic camera moves and the way you let the action take its time, something normally not seen in movies these days. The opening backstory with the moth priest was great. The two criticisms I have are the focus pumping and extremely high contrast and weird bokeh in the Riverwood segment. The picture just looked really bad there. I was also a little put off by Delphine's and Irileth's porcelain doll faces. But overall it was awesome.

This came out over a year ago. I'm shocked the second act isn't out yet. But then again, Yong has a personal life like everyone else. I'm really hoping for the next act soon. I've beat Skyrim twice already and know what's going to happen all the way through, I just love watching it in movie form the way this was envisioned. He did a brilliant job with it.
Wow tho, it says act 2 AND 3 out "this" year (which was actually 2014.) Here we are, nearing the end of 2015, and no Dragonborn Act 2. Regardless, this was fucking great

Okay wow... I am 2 mins. I love The Elder Scrolls 2-4 plus online. Completely. On a random whim I searched for a fan film and I have to say I will be sharing this. Bravo and I am not even partially through it. The production is very very good. Exactly what I was looking for.
I can respect that it takes a REALLY long time to make an epic project like this, so I understand that he hasn't finished act II yet, but why did he promise to finish it in 2014?

This was amazing. It was exellently paced as well. The draugr at the end was like a stronger mook that served as more of a challenge before the big fight with a dragon. The Dragonborns lines were great as well and added to his character and the beginning was very original, and the sequel hook was perfect. I can't wait for act two, and I'll be interested to see where that ends.
