@@Eric6761 I figured something out regarding “weaker” archetypes, that you can give them loads of fun support that would break the game in half in the hands of other “stronger” archetypes.

We were expecting Arcana Force in the last Legendary Duelist pack but well Mizael laughs at that idea. I do hope Arcana Force gets the support it deserves but this is all what we needed... maybe a bit more later.
the coin tossing is also because they are based on tarot cards, which have different meanings depending on whether the card is upright or upside down (this is better shown in the anime, where rather than flip a coin, the card rotates until the opponent says stop, with the heads and tails effects being for if the card is upright or upside down respectively)
Kinda surprising a card that takes control of another monster that's related to the Arcana Force ones hasn't been printed yet, given the whole premise of the time when Sartorious was the main villain. Also, yeah, Cup of Ace is spiritually related to the archetype. In Duel Links, Sartorious has a line with the card, and it even has the same unique animation effect as the Arcana Force cards (which shows them spinning and then being rightside or downside). Also also, there are a TON of unused lines in Duel Links for several of the currently unused major arcana cards.
cup of ace is the ace of cups from the minor tarot. sartorius also ran ace of sword, ace of sword ten, and several other spells and traps based off other tarot cards. also, reversal of fate is apparently meant to be the wheel of fortune card in the archetype
The bad thing about giving support to arcane force is that it would be bad to avoid ZA WARUDO being abused or in case it is good support everything would degenerate into tier 0 ZA WARUDO turbo ftk
In the past I thought of ideas for support for Arcana Force. My ideas were something like these: *Arcana Force Reading* (Normal Spell) If you control no monsters, reveal to your opponent 3 AF with different names from the deck, then at random your opponent must choose head or tail for each of them (but they can't choose the same option twice in a row) then special summon those monsters and apply their coin toss effect according to what your opponent choose. For the rest of the turn you can only summon light monsters. You can only activate "Arcana Force Reading" once per turn. Not sure if the effect is well explained, but the idea is that you choose the monsters but the opponent has an input on the "positions"/effects of the cards as if it's their future is being read. *Arcana crossing of destiny* Normal Spell Throw a coin and apply the effect according to the result: Head: send AF monsters with different names from the hand, field and/or deck for the fusion summon of a AF monster that requires 3 monsters. Tails: banish AF monsters with different names from your field and graveyard for the fusion summon of a AF monster that requires 3 monsters. *Arcana Force Extra The reader* (an AF with a "Sartorious design") Fusion monster. 3 AF monsters. Once per turn you can special summon Arcana Force monster with different names from your hand, deck, and/or graveyard (one each), if you don't control Light Barrier your opponent can choose which of the effects (head or tails) are applied from those monsters. Atk/Def 0. Maybe the fusion can get an additional effect.
Not sure about the current format of the series but I love that you kept the Tarot Theme going instead of say venturing to something different with very little to tie in(referrals obviously to your Dark Clown Support).
The way i tried to give custom support is woth basic swaming and continous trap that swarms or destroy your own cards depening on the flip and the funny thing I thought to do is make it have "if you summon 22 Level 8 or lower Arcana Force monsters with different names during this duel you win." But your support does feel realistic, especially when you based them on what the tarot repersents, that Judgement too deck war effect is NASTY though XD
The World is a favorite of mine. I use it in a Danger deck and 50% of the time I get the effect off in MD. I'd say 90% of the time the effect goes off, my opponent surrenders. The problem with a monster like The World (and overall this whole archetype) is that it has no engine. I'll grant that it came out in a time where that wasn't really a thing. BUT it needs to be now, especially given that due to the lack of special summoning it possess, how are you supposed to tribute out The World and have two monsters to toss and have game with damage? It's not happening. I use Skull Dread, Succession or Monster reborn after dumping him to the grave to easily summon. Another example of a deck that's received an insane amount of support that came out around the same time, is Sacred Beasts. They have a competitive engine, if you bolster it with the right staples.
The problem with The World is that it's horribly designed lol. If Arcana Force had an engine that could reliably bring it out, it would be banned. So Konami needs to take the deck in a direction away from that.
@@customcardguy That is an interesting thought but I have videos of me doing so with Dangers. So, what's the difference? It's like the bans and limits for cards like Monster Reborn. I am glad that Arcana doesn't have support that pushed it in such a direction, then I wouldn't be able to do it all. Arguably more consistently than anything they'd concoct.
I think tarots are cool and this didn't have to be a coin flip deck. Oddly enough Amazement and Mimighoul does what this deck should have done. I think keeping some "bad" effects was crucial to align with the lore. The ones that are legitimately bad, I applied to both players (wheel, reaper).
