Smokey mokey mokey sayes it can't use it's effect on another smokey mokey mokey, but when it's in your graveyard, it's name is treated as mokey mokey, so doesn't that bypass the nontarget effect, because you're targeting a mokey mokey not a smokey mokey mokey?

I made a Mokey Mokey deck. Its fine....but I am happy I was able to be a Dimension Dragon deck(guy held back on me tbh lol) and a Destiny Hero Deck(won thanks to Honest)

I had made my Mokey Mokey custom support before Adrift was announced. Eventually I changed the name of some of the cards to make those non-serchable, but kept most the same. Made too many lol, but inna way, so one can make 2 or 3 different decks. Pure: "Mokey Mokey" Chaos: "Mokey" and "Yekom" Alt: "Mokey School"

In GX, many characters have their arcs and their moment to shine. The problem is that most of their arcs have little to nothing to do with the main story, as it's entirely personal for them alone. Even if they failed to finish their own personal arcs, nothing much would have changed in the grand scheme of things. Why? Because Judai/Jaden fights and deals with most of the big bads. With only a small handful of characters like Zane or Aster and Johan/Jesse actually helping out. But the OG group like Syrus didn't do much other than be cheerleaders or fight one off battles that wasn't important to the finale.

Don't get me started on the cheating, god the Numbers cards will themselves into existence nevermind that there is an electronic system that is supposed to read cards, yuma and astral just create cards they need, later on so do some of the villains. Vrains has hackers just hacking their own cards into games at a few points, oh and that one asshole from 5d's who just beats the crap out of his opponents.

I guess to sum it up, people really wanted to see more of Zane/Ryo. Especially that his last meaningful duel against Yubel was honestly best in series.

I absolutely love GX, filler included. I know a lot of folks say, "Oh, GX finally gets good in Season 3 when shit gets serious", and while Season 3 is my personal favorite, part of the reason it's so good is BECAUSE of the filler and the lighter slice-of-life tone from much of the first two seasons, not IN SPITE of it. Seeing that shift in the tone and the mood of the show once Jesse and Yubel hit the scene really makes what comes next all the more inpactful, and I don't think a lot of folks appreciate that buildup enough. Plus, as this list demonstrates, a lot of the early GX filler episode Duels are just a ton of fun to watch!

I really wish the folks at Konami were just a bit more flexible about marketing Yugioh for younger kids these days. They don't have to make it for adults or teens specifically, but being willing to expand on the Shadow Realm concept in a possible remake of the original series could be a great way to recapture and enrich the shoenen-horror vibe of the early manga without being too graphic. Just giving the viewers a brief glimpse of whatever unique torment awaits the loser of a duel when they enter the Shadow Realm would be enough.

I don't care if it was filler, the Moki Moki stoner will always be one of favorite duels in all of Yu Gi Oh

i think there's so much potential with archfiends. Have a link monster called archfiendpawn fork or something with 2 arrows pointing top left and top right then let it say if there's 2 monsters it points to, destroy one of them. You can make en pessant where you can move a pawn up and if your opponent summoned a monster this turn, destroy it. You can do so much with chess. And for promoted queen archfiend, make it so that it needs a pawn archfiend that activated its effects this turn or something, so you earned the promotion.

Darkness is the character that I feel has the most wasted potential.

I would have liked more asuka duels in general, she was the first girl lead in yugioh that was built up as a duelist and only had a handful. Specifically I would like to see her duel against the darkness who took her brother away from her and caused him so much pain. or just something that wasn't against a bunch of randos to show off why she's the queen of the obelisk blue dorms. In general I feel like there were so many duels that would have been more fun to see some of the non Judai characters face instead of having him beat on the villain of the week

3:47 back in '03-'04 school year thise how my brother and I would run the block with Obelisk the tormentor or at the neighborhood YMCA after school.

Point of clarification: Since GX (and all the anime after it) does not follow a source material (manga), the word "filler" is somewhat a misnomer, but some duels are very clearly extras. My basic definition of "filler" in this case is anything that doesn't contribute to plot or character development. Or in other words, it's world-building/for fun. Slifer the sky dragon+elemental hero neos= slifer neos. 4. Winged dragon of ra+elemental hero flame wingman= flame wing dragon of ra.
