Forgot to mention archon shards! If you really want to go crazy on Khora the obvious choice would be Violet Archon Shards for melee critical damage. Also, the Venari build in the video is not at all optimized - check out the connected build linked in my Khora build in the description for a much better finalized version!
This is a very well put together for a 50 sub channel at the time. Great job! It's no wonder you're already at 3k subs when you were only at 50 when this video dropped.
One comment I wanted to add, the special companion mod Tenacious Bond (your Venari had it in the video) stacks. So the Smeeta Kavat if it had Tenacious on would give an additional +1.2x stacking with Venari. Both meaning you had an additional +2.4x crit damage for Whip
Just one addition to your content. If you cloud add a few video chapters it would be great. For example: 1st intro and explanation 2nd build 3rd how to use the build 4rd showcase. BTW Great content, keep up the good work.
I use nourish Ik ik nourish typical but you get free viral and fix energy problems and you melee can be built for slash and have the melee arcane to also get corrosive
Going from 2x to 3x base crit multiplier via magistars evo is a 50% increase to crit damage scaling, in addition to that using a dagger would mean you are no longer using a hammer to trigger magus aggress, so you would also lose its massive 300% crit damage buff. It’s not even close, Magistar is far and beyond her best stat stick, and it has very high disposition rivens as well.
Not a bad idea, but enemies have to be affected by at least 5 unique status effects on death for Lycaths Hunt to gain duration, so without a particular setup to address that you would still be recasting
@@Unified-Codex Yeah, but that’s just after you’ve grouped up a clump with Ensnare, you tap with with an Epitaph then Whipclaw. Immediately back at cap.
hi can you help me uinderstand why is the sancti not used? it has a lot more base crit, even with the incarnon evo it should be higher if my math is correct, right? is the noirmal one bugged? have you tested it on the sancti? great video and i really want to try this build but i wanna be sure im spending my resources correctly
The stats on the actual melee do not matter, WHIPCLAW has 25% crit chance and 2x multiplier and that is what you are modding. The mods carry over, so ignore what you are seeing ok the weapon - regular magistar provides a higher evo value which means a larger boost to whipclaw
I have neither of the current gold-standard stat-sticks (ceramic dagger incarnon, and Magistar incarnon), what would you recommend I use as a stat stick while I wait for the circuit rotations of those two to come up again? (I have Innodem and the incarnon Knuckles that got added alongside Dante....uh, Onos? I think?)
@@Unified-Codex Time to go unveil some rivens then XD (I never really bothered with melee rivens before, but if they make that much of a difference for stat sticks, I will from now on)
Khora will still absolutely dominate even without having a riven on your melee, but yes they can make a HUGE difference for example in my personal build I replace Spoiled Strike (+100% melee damage) with a 280% melee damage and 300% crit chance riven which is absolutely disgusting
Cool video, but you overlooked something very crucial. You don't actually gain the full shieldgate duration from Catalyzing Shields with the amount you recover with your build. I see you're recovering 67 shields per whipclaw but your max shields is 93, meaning you never utilize your Catalyzing Shields and instead gain the puny minimal 0.33s shieldgate per whipclaw instead meaning you could just toss that mod or go negative efficiency. You'd need 372% shields gained from energy spent total on 100% efficiency which you can never reach. (You only had 270%.) With shieldgating your Arcane Aegis almost never has a chance to proc since enemies will always oneshot your shields and you can only whip once per second, meaning even if you get blasted perfectly each time you get your shields back (with that 0.33s shieldgate) you'd still only have that 3% chance each second to gain its effect, only triggering it after ~33 seconds of spamming whipclaw and being under constant fire (at which point, what are you even doing). Not worth the arcane slot for such a low chance of actually being useful when you need it.
Good math! You are correct, and going negative efficiency is a decent answer as long as energy sustain is decent - albeit it may not be as much as an issue as it seems. While one whip may not hit the gate, you are not always getting hit so when you can simply whip twice thats a full gate - or you can drop strangledome which with its energy cost will hit it. Once you do hit that first 1.3s gate its pretty easy to stay inside of it if you are continuously whipping.
This has been the biggest reason I’ve not invested into building up my Magistar and Ceramic Dagger, definitely cool to see these builds but I’ll wait and see what changes before I try them lol
@@jarisjauhari6904 Stat sticks have functioned this way for years with no signs of changing, even if they do its not like getting the Magistar to a usable point for this build is difficult. "Waiting to see what changes before I use them" is paradoxical, if you wait until it's changed then you can't use it - better to enjoy it while you can!
For extraordinarily high levels perhaps, but reaching the level at which dozens to hundreds of millions of damage doesn’t outright kill enemies would take a bit for most people. Excellent question though
Yes, but you can add violet archon shards to even boost the critical damage a 75% per shard... It's so strong... Moreover, you can make interactions with Xata's Whispers, Nourish, Breaching Surge, Wrathful Advance and Sickening Pulse (if you go with condition overload)... But i doubt it will be necesary since there is no enemy that can outlive a 1B damage of the whip
Not correct unfortunately! The stats of the actual weapons don’t matter when it comes to modding pseudo-exalted abilities. The regular Magistar is MUCH better because the incarnon crit buff on it grants 16% CC and 1x crit multi where as on the sancti it only gives 12% and 0.2x
@@Unified-Codex I'm sorry but I haven't seen millions and millions of damage like Khora does with the sanctis magistar. With the magistar you don't use 100% of the first khora skill. Try modifying build and changing the magistar with the sanctis and you will see the difference.
Even without a riven the build already has over 350% crit chance, so it won't make much of a difference either way - use whatever suits you! Keep in mind that if you are killing enemies so fast that they aren't hitting you enough to trigger Avenger, such as tight hallway strangledome setups, then Avenger would be garbage - you can of course alleviate this with Combat Discipline but then you lose the shield gate benefits of BR and so on etc. Either way Hitting 300 million or 350 million they will die either way!
Excellent idea! That would certainly make getting to 12x very fast but at the cost of a potentially more powerful primary for the rare occasion Khora might need to shoot something
No need to activate, the extra CC and CD are passively applied - and the extra melee damage from actually activating is irrelevant. Also 5m damage would be cute, hit 247m the other day
