I am SO fascinated by the effects of resin’s exothermic reaction on different combinations of pigments! I will be doing this for a while as there are many, many different combinations of pigments, types of pigments, colors of pigments. There are so many “Flowers"🌺 to be created. Yippee.
This technique is NOT an exact science. You have to see how YOUR brands of resin and pigments work in the basic framework of the technique.
Resin used in this video - Art Pro by Resin Pro. This is a 3:2 resin
Inks used: Holbein Acrylic Ink- Luminous Opera, Quinacridone Magenta
White: Castin Craft
Mold- Small Chunky Live Edge Coaster Mold by Julie Cutts found in her eBay store Pouring Your Heart Out. Link below-

Great creation Kim! How many times can use a mold? Does it wear out? Anyway, this is absolutely stunning.🩷
Thanks Louise! Yes the molds do wear out. I used this one more times than I can count- 30-40 times? It now has a couple of scratches and the finish is getting dull. You can fix it back up though by laying down a new thin layer of silicone. I should show how to do it! 🎉
