We are absolutely honored to have Britt Clayton of @BrittClaytonDesign guest with us and of course provide the challenge. Her challenge to us was to use a pigment and do a pour that was NOT a bloom. Challenge accepted!

5” wood round
Paints used-
Amsterdam- Prussian Blue Phthalo, Titanium White
Golden-Permanent Violet Dark
Arteza- Pearl Pink
Deco Art- Satin Enamel- Pure White
Pigments- This Little Piggy 🐷 - TLP
Mermaid, Mango
-Paints mixed with American Floetrol at approximately 1:2 with water to thin just a bit. A small blob of Golden Gel gloss was added to the tube paints before adding the floetrol.
-Pigments mixed with Golden Regular gel gloss, Josonja varnish to wet, and then floetrol

I'm sorry for just missing your premiere, Kim. First off, our congratulations to Amy! Your graduation isn't far off. I don't think the orange looked bad. Especially covered up! 🤣🤣 The second looked gorgeous and we loved it! Now we'd love to take a dip in the pool. Have you ever swam in Lake Superior? 🥶🥶
Not a problem at all. Life happens and it was a crazy busy collab day! I have to laugh at your comment about that orange. High five 🙌. Lake Superior and swimming are two things that should never go together. Hehe. Water has to be AT LEAST 80 before I’ll get in it. 😅 wuss here.

I know what you mean when you keep looking at a piece and am not too sure. Sometimes you just have to go again. I love the second one, the way you poured it, the layering everything. I see a beautiful light shining through the pink and purple colour on the finished result. It is beautiful my dear! Great job! 🤩
