“They” will not accept any clarifications or retractions. Get ready for this to be held over your head for the rest of your life.
Respectfully ustadh, I'm not sure if this clarified everything -- it might leave some with more confusion. I think some might not be aware that you thought the specific example was inappropriate to use but that you still believe it is not allowed to call out to the Prophet ﷺ
I think he’s more referring to mentioning the messenger salalahu alayhi wasalam in that context alongside that inappropriate example.
I don't know what this clarification was on, as I haven't seen the original video. But are you saying that calling upon the Prophetﷺ is allowed?
@@AbdulazizKider
He made 2 statements in the past (atleast from what I can remember)
1- *"I see some people who call upon the prophet asking him to fulfil their requests in their duas, NOT knowing that this is shirk"*
2- *"Having intercourse with ur OWN MOTHER is better than shirk"*
There is absolutely nothing wrong with these statements, people r just sensitive as hell and don't know what examples mean.
@@Scizor212The framing of the second point is wrong, he should have said "Shirk is worse than incest", when you're comparing something bad, you phrase it that way, he phrased it as if it was two good things.
@@AbdulazizKider of course not that’s shirk.

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A time of patience will come to people in which adhering to one's religion is like grasping a hot coal.”
Hey I struggle with khushoo too, here are a few things that have helped me.
1. Understanding what I'm reciting in Salah. Learn the meaning of Surah Fatiha and everything else you say in Salah.
2. Being sincere and making sure I mean what I say e.g in Surah Fatiha
3. Taking long pauses after each ayah as Allah responds to us in Salah.
Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty said: I have divided prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he has asked for. When the servant says, ‘All praise is due to Allah the Lord of the worlds,’ Allah says: My servant has praised Me. When he says, ‘The Gracious, the Merciful,’ Allah says: My servant has exalted Me. When he says, ‘The Master of the Day of Judgment,’ Allah says: My servant has glorified Me, and My servant has submitted to Me. When he says, ‘You alone we worship, You alone we ask for help,’ Allah says: This is between Me and My servant, and My servant will have what he has asked for. When he says, ‘Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom you have favored, not those who earned wrath and went astray,’ Allah says: This is for My servant, and My servant will have what he has asked for.”

What is Uustadah's stance on tawassul? I know what this video pertains to but im curious if there a link to his actual opinion on tawassul?
I follow the Ba'Alawiyyah and knowing Sidi Abu Taymiyyah is on their bloodline I also am asking respectfully to hear his opinion on the matter. I respect him a lot.
If their a link to him discussing his view I would like to read. Jazak Allahu khayr.

i am great noah, alhamdulillah!
I don't understand and i don't know the context
You didn’t even say anything wrong? It shows extreme how shirk is
He knows most his fans are layman Muslims with Sufi background and they’re mainly hanafis so him taking back what he said (which was basically true major shirk is worse than Zina with mum ) he only took it back so he doesn’t lose his fans and gets cancelled by them. So he’s a cheap product.
@@sufyanalthawri1257I'd recommend not to accuse him of being a people pleaser nor backbite him, I doubt he's afraid of getting "canceled" as he talks about a variety of topics which could also cause some people to try to cancel him
@@mohd.wxleedthe majority of the Muslims today are non salafis when he was a salafi his numbers online were small ever since he kind off stepped back from salafiyyah and started to be like his teacher Saeed al Kamali and saleh al usaymi his fan based grew as now he’s more general in his dawah and compromises a lot
@@sufyanalthawri1257
Idk what exactly he compromises? He talks about LGBTQ like crazy and is always guiding people to the sunnah.
It's not about losing fans, ur just quickly jumping into conclusions. He took it back because he doesn't want to face backlash and he is tired of people whining about it. It was never his fault anyways. People r just too sensitive.
If people can't understand how bad shirk is, it's honestly their fault for not knowing such a basic thing.
And if people don't know that making dua asking the prophet for a request is shirk, then again it's their fault for being so dumb it's such a basic thing.

If I recall correctly, Imam Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab ر حمه الله used a similar example to explain to his students the severity of shirk, right? So it’s fine. Whatever the example is, the main point still remains, which is that nothing can be as bad as shirk.

Very big for retracting something you consider a mistake. That takes a lot of backbone and humility. Every son of Adam errors. As for not taking form you due to a mistake you made, that is stupidity. If we apply this current cancellation logic to every scholar and student of knowledge plus every other Muslim, we could never take knowledge from any Muslim past or present.

He gave a VERY disgusting example in one of his lectures (youre better of not knowing) and he falsely claimed that asking the Prophet to make dua to Allah for you is shirk and will get you in hell. Assalaamulaikum ustadh, for me the main concern is not the example, but rather how you view istigatha.
I personally do not partake in this, but you make it seem as if it is an action that is kufr.
Those who practice istigatha, have a large sum of authentic evidences that justify it.
And if you are so inclined to the view that it is shirk/ kufr, why is it that you nor Ustadh Abdul Rahman Hassan were unable to convey this to Shaykh Asrar Rashid.
Rather you both held the position that it is haram, and not shirk.
If you can do an in-depth video where you objectively review the arguments and explain your position this would be very beneficial.
excuse me can u enlighten me what is istigatha?

Shirk is worse than zina
There’s no debate about it
Asking the Prophet (saw) to make dua for you when he was alive is proven in ahadith such as that of the blind man. Now that he has returned to Allah it is merely bidah to ask the Prophet SAW to make dua to Allah for something.
