I was in a hurry to marry this woman I love. But I felt this message telling me to trust Gods timing. God was crying for years. It sounded like a squeaky wheel that sounded like a bird. It didn't make me feel mentally ill and was kind of comforting not being alone. I didn't think of suicide the whole time God was crying. That was probably it's purpose. He probably saved my life.
When I'm obsessed with things that I want, it's time to think about God's time. My time is imperfect but God's time is perfect. With this faith, let me wait and stay in firm until your time comes to me.

I'm waiting on God's timing to alleviate my sadness and grief from my husband of 53 years dying 5 1/2 months ago. I do trust that God means to teach me lessons of how I can help others while they are grieving. But the sadness right now is just overwhelming. It's really a test of my being able to keep from falling into despair...hardest thing I have ever had to do. I pray, read the Bible, cry and then do it all over again. One day when I go to Heaven to meet Jesus and see Jimmie again, all sadness and grief will be over. I have to hold onto that. Diane in North Carolina
You are holding on to the past and what is over. Start a new daily routine, GET OUT...go to the library, church, just walk around a large store, but get out! Plant some flowers; purge...get rid of old junk, old clothes. Do SOMETHING constructive every day. And when the grief of your memories hits really hard, take THAT day to mourn and to cry. But you HAVE to keep moving and changing. That is what life is all about. And then, when you see your Jimmie again, you will have a lot to tell him, won't you?

I don't mean to imply that I do nothing but pray, read the Bible, and cry all day long. I'm only saying that it's very hard to push through the sadness even with doing all those things. I will always hold on to the memories; I don't think God means for me to let those go. Have you lost a spouse and know first hand - is that where your suggestions are coming from? I losy my Father 3 years ago, and I read this somewhere. Grief is like always carrying a suitcase full of rocks. It is heavy but in time, you will get used to it. It is still heavy, it is still there, but you get use to carrying it. The pain will always be there, but you will learn to live with it. And pray that God replace the despair with excitement of someday meeting each other again in heaven. ❤️

You're right that the grief is still there, but it got easier to carry with my parents and brother, maybe partly because I always had my husband along side me to help carry the grief. It's been very different losing my husband. Though I miss Jimmie terribly, I wouldn't have him back here after he's experienced Heaven. Yes, I do look forward to seeing Jimmie again in Heaven, after meeting Jesus in person first. But some days, the anticipation of seeing Jimmie one day gets outweighed by my sadness at missing him. Waiting is all I feel like I've done for almost 4 years for my physical health to recover, and almost 20 years for my mental health to change. I am only 21 but have had untreatable mental health issues since birth. Years of treatments from many different medical facilities have failed only for me to discover one doctor who is now helping me physically. And now, it looks like my mental health could potentially be totally cured because I was diagnosed with a curable tick borne disease(Lyme). I can't wait to see the world through a normal mind. I look forward to that day. I pray God forgives me for giving up on him. I know he will because he is merciful and forgives my sin and understands my mental issues.

Your testimony about his teaching is exactly like mine. His teachings became transformative to me more than miracles and wonders which I had gone to experience. Now I can create my own miracles and wonders through living and meditating in the word of God. I am now a channel of blessing to my family and others. They ask me to pray for them or advise them or speak for them or stand in faith with them because they have noticed God lives in me and fruits are abound.

I'm almost 27 and still didnt meet my future wife yet. Almost tired of looking as in trying to hurry up the process before a certain age but its in His timing not mine. I'm sure theres still things God wants me to learn and realise before that commitment.

You are bound to find that special one in your life. Don’t give up. Maybe there is some things in your character that does not allow our Heavenly Father to provide you with a great woman yet. On my own experience, is very hard to maintain a family and a happy home. I have to make changes myself if I want to continue my blessings with my wife and family. HAVE FAITH AND PRAY EVERY DAY!! God will always be with you.

I have had the same dream since I was a little girl and I've often asked God in prayer, "Why is it taking so long? I see others with a similar dream who are much younger than me and who are living it. Why do I have to wait?" I don't have the answer to that yet, but I know that His word will NOT return to me void and it will come to pass. In the waiting, I am growing- growing in the gifts He has given me, growing in my faith, growing in patience, growing! I am doing my part and waiting on Him to do His. I know that He will not fail me. This message really helped renew my mind this morning!

Waiting is all I feel like I've done for almost 4 years for my physical health to recover, and almost 20 years for my mental health to change. I am only 21 but have had untreatable mental health issues since birth. Years of treatments from many different medical facilities have failed only for me to discover one doctor who is now helping me physically. And now, it looks like my mental health could potentially be totally cured because I was diagnosed with a curable tick borne disease(Lyme). I can't wait to see the world through a normal mind. I look forward to that day. I pray God forgives me for giving up on him. I know he will because he is merciful and forgives my sin and understands my mental issues.
I would like to ask you to look for a sermon on TH-cam called "The Insanity of Martin Luther" by RC Sproul. I pray it sheds light and gives you a new perspective.
Your testimony about his teaching is exactly like mine. His teachings became transformative to me more than miracles and wonders which I had gone to experience. Now I can create my own miracles and wonders through living and meditating in the word of God. I am now a channel of blessing to my family and others. They ask me to pray for them or advise them or speak for them or stand in faith with them because they have noticed God lives in me and fruits are abound.

When you knock on the door and nobody answers it means either nobody's home or the person inside is ignoring you.
I have been struggling with infertility and I know I need to be patient in more than one aspect of my life and I know this is Gods plan to make me more patient and not take what I have for granted! I am in Gods waiting room, all in his timing❤

I'm almost 27 and still didnt meet my future wife yet. Almost tired of looking as in trying to hurry up the process before a certain age but its in His timing not mine. I'm sure theres still things God wants me to learn and realise before that commitment.
I know how it is.... god knows the perfect time for you it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop looking!

@westCoast, timing is everything. Find within yourself and get to know yourself and make changes in your life with GODS planning. We are not GOD, but we shall serve and do as he wants us to do. You are bound to find that special one in your life. Don’t give up. Maybe there is some things in your character that does not allow our Heavenly Father to provide you with a great woman yet. On my own experience, is very hard to maintain a family and a happy home. I have to make changes myself if I want to continue my blessings with my wife and family. HAVE FAITH AND PRAY EVERY DAY!! God will always be with you.

Since im young i felt drawn when i first saw your book #PURPOSE OF DRIVEN LIFE, at my young age i really want to buy that book and wanted to read it,, maybe i was 12 yrs. Old,, but still i dont have money yet,, but in a mysterious ways i felt something with your book until the years pass by i got job and gone to national book store finding your book i was very shock the price because it was very expensive it cost 600php. And my money is not enough to buy it. What i did was i just open it and say it to myself one day i will know what is inside you and why i felt so. Drawn to u.. This so called church my friend is not a church but a man made protestant CULT. Jesus Christ founded but ONE Church two thousand year’s ago called the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH on the infallible Rock of Peter. There’s NO salvation outside the holy Catholic Church because the holy Catholic Church is Jesus Christ on earth. Protestantism is 40,000 man made CULTS. The Bible is a Catholic book the protestant Bible is an incomplete and corrupted Catholic book. To call the Baptist CULT,a church is blasphemous. Jesus didn’t found churches he found ONE. God bless.
