EcoCycle EPOD Concept Vehicle Introduction. (P23)

This is the concept vehicle defining the direction for EcoCycle Human Powered Vehicles.
It is a human powered electric hybrid that qualifies as an Ebike in many jurisdictions.
The fully enclosable body protects you from the elements and the all aluminum space frame offers protection not found in a bicycle.

If I might make a suggestion, consider some sort of storage space for riders to put their groceries, or if going for a distance ride a place to store a tent or something. Some turn signals like the ELF or PEBL would increase safety. It would add to the expense, but also consider a mid-drive motor paired with a Nuvinci gear shift. And an adjustable seat for people of various heights. Just some simple quality of life improvements. I understand this is a prototype and maybe you already have ideas like these in development, but as a prototype this is the perfect time to consider improvements.

Adding a more aerodynamic rear would cost little and improve product greatly.

Good luck with this project. The only alternatives are the ELF by the now-bankrupt Organic Transit, and the PEBL by better.bike. But both are (or were) near the $10k+ range new. If you managed to get the price down to half that then you would have a buyer. Because right now, while they look amazing, they are also a rich man's product. The PEBL is near half of my annual salary, and while I care about the environment I don't care enough to pay THAT MUCH when a regular Ebike paired with a hybrid car will do.

Yea they look cool I got 3 ELF's but they are more project bikes then alternative vehicles
