I played with him so much in this game and in Tekken 5. His moveset was so good when he was fleshed out later on in the series. Damn those reversals on Law, Jun and King were so cool. I liked Michelles music. He was overpowered not gonna lie. "Jinpachi: It's not like some game designers were going to take you out only for you to come back in the next game."
People usually associate the waning moon with ogre in tekken 3, but they all forget that the waning moon was probably even more dangerous in this game with Wang. If he hit you with the waning moon he could get a guaranteed follow up and it was pretty much death ☠️
In Tekken 1, it was even worse, with the lower health (so it was easier to convert Waning Moon into a KO) and the fact that Waning Moon was Wang's normal 2+4 grab (much easier to perform than df,df 2+4).

Waning Moon was so dumb. It's +eternity on hit and I want to say it was unbreakable, too. I never knew Wang had a Phoenix Smasher in this game. Or Nina's f1+2. He can low profile lasers by just standing there?! I know this is tool assisted but I'm starting to think Wang was kind of busted in this game.
Waning Moon was indeed unbreakable in Tekken 2. Wang had the Heavy Power Punch and Blonde Bomb in Tekken 1, as well. Both would see animation changes to make the moves his own in later games. Yeah, he was pretty crazy. No wonder Ogre sampled from his moveset.
Can someone tell me why is jun the sub boss for wang I know that in tekken the sub boss character always someone that has relationship with the selected character for example when you select heihachi the sub boss is his adopted son lee and so on

That's an interesting peace of lore! They didn't come up with Jinpachi on the fly for T5. He was always a peace of the lore just like Kazumi.

Dragon thrust is my favourite moves, he slightly lift up the enemy and make them rolling on the ground.
