Oh, I love this fun fun-fold. You ladies are the sweetest and enjoy the chit-chat. It makes it real. Thank you for the downloads. Cool idea for the scanning and diagram. You are the best. Thank you for sharing your awesome talents. 🤗🥰 P.S. Prayers for the fur babies. I have a rescue kitty with a lot of trauma issues. Sweet baby. Blessings to you all.
I had to chuckle because my granddaughter was listening to me watch the replay and asked what in the world I was watching. I said the best card maker and she said that it didn’t sound like a card video. I told her “we” always chat a little first! Even tho I can’t make the live I enjoy your videos from beginning to end.
Hi Connie, I just watched the replay for your fabulous fun-fold card. I just love it! And, once again, I want to thank you for your wonderful tutorial downloads. The best! I'm ready to make it. 😊
An absolutely beautiful design. I have been commissioned to make cards for the firm my son works for. They deal with domestic violence. This design will definitely be on the list. Thank you, Connie. Ruth down under.
I’m in the Dallas area and it’s been in the 90s for most of the last month. It only cools off when it storms and was without power for 3 days but stayed in 70s in my house.
Watching the replay and love this fun fold showing off both sides of the paper. Maybe I can use up some of my prety patterned paper. Thanks for the creative inspiration.
I love water color pencils. In order to get the shading, color where you want it the darkest. Use a damp, not wet brush to pull the color to help lighter areas. Another tip, don’t fully color like you do w color pencils, use the water to spread it out.
Thank you for another great video! have you ever considered making 6x6 cards? (I've been trying to adapt this gate fold technique to a 6x6 card style but not sure I can do the math, .... maths is not my strong suit!)
Be careful if making while watching the replay and relying on verbal instructions. There is a cut that should be made at 3 1/4 that is voiced as 3 3/4. If you use written instructions from PDF download, you’ll be fine. Hey, we all make mistakes. 😂
The problem I had was using a directional paper. When cutting it, if I turned it to cut it, the pattern was wrong. If I cut them all in the correct direction, there was not enough paper. I did have more than one sheet so I got it worked out. And the paper I was using did not have two usable sides ( I didn’t like the back side) so I had to cut extra pieces to have them match on each side. Not the end of the world but something to be aware of when choosing paper.
Lol...sorry to burst your bubble Connie....but you didn't come up with this design. I have been an artist/stamper/crafter for over 50 years...and I've been making this particular design for YEARS. Not that your cards aren't absolutely beautiful.
She says right in beginning that either she saw a long time ago and doesn’t remember or came up with the idea. So please give her a break. So hard to make these videos.
@@simplysimplestamping You’re very welcome! You do a great job. It takes so much preparation for even one video, let alone the many you do. Have a Happy 4th!

I don't make that size of card. So, I would recommend trying it with some scrap paper.
Very cool!
Thank you

This was the hardest and most time consuming card I ever made but it turned out beautiful
I am glad it turned out beautiful and I am so glad you gave it a try.

Hi from cold Scotland ❤
Hello there!
Why do you have a border with black arrows on your cutting board?
It is washi tape to cover the metrics so that I don't mess up.
@ ok that makes sense thank yoi
That six sided figure is a six sided polygon not a hexagon. A hexagon has 6 equal sides and six = angles. Hope that helps!
Hexagons can be irregular, according to my studies.
Thanks for sharing.
I love punches over dies, so when I get a new punch, I write the name of it on the bottom with a black Sharpie marker.
Great idea.
