I think the figma is more accurate and the faces are accurate too. I also like the buzzmod but the skin tone has slightly too much yellow tone. Plus the eyes and eyebrows bother me but just how I personaly feel

Figma has better likeness, proportions, a better flame effect, and a great water effect. BUZZmod has soft goods, better articulation, accessory options, and the line will most likely flourish.
the buzzmods look bulky but the cloth haori makes dynamic poses look really nice, as well as the part swap deep knee bend piece, the bulkiness kind of goes away after you pose them, but they look a bit chonky in vanilla poses. The figmas look great and very vibrant and anime accurate but i found myself getting alot more frustrated posing figmas since they have all sorts of joints for the plastic jacket etc versus the buzzmod where i actually had alot of fun with despite the QC on tanjiros legs coming off easily.

When I got my figma the arm was broken at the shoulder and it crumpled in my hands. The legs fall off all the time. I haven’t touched it since I got it to pose.
If the figma one had a cloth cape, it'd be PERFECT! And for me, the buzz one won 'cause of collection purposes, buzzmod It's really investing in this franchise, since figma has a lot of animes to work on, completing your collection in figma 'd be difficult!

I’ve been struggling with this decision, but I think Figma Inosuke is just horrific, Figma should be better than those joints. If I can’t have Inosuke I need a different line. For tanjiro, I’ve basically had a hard time deciding because I think the Buzzmod will be more fun overall to play with miniatures, but also because he resembles Tanjiro in the early manga. Perhaps the Figma matches the anime, but Buzzmod def has early manga vibes, and I usually prefer manga likeness over anime.
I prefer the figma version, the cloth haori on the buzzmod makes Tanjiro's silhouette kinda bulky. The drop shoulder also makes him look like he has short arms

Honestly neither one. They both pose and hold poses well. That being said, Figmas other characters (Nezuko & Zenitsu) have a ton of problems! This Tanjiro is great, but you can’t go wrong with either.
I do like the sculpting better on the Figma Tanjiro, but after seeing this side-by-side comparison I'm glad I went with Buzzmod. Also Inosuke is my favorite and the Buzzmod looks so much better in both sculpt and articulation.
I feel like the overall style of clothing in DS ruined both the figures. The bulky legs limiting possibility is wack. Also the Figma can’t take his Haori off which I still hate to this day considering there’s been Figma with cloth and with removable clothing but they plastic mold the Haori onto the finger making it awkward

The BUZZmod just hasn't impressed me, but everything about the figma is making me want it more then what I already have! Great review and comparison! One quick note, Tanjiro doesn't use Fire Breathing. That style is called Hinokami Kagura which translates to Dance of the Fire God I think. Rengoku uses the Flame Breathing. I just remember this because Shinobu said they are very specific with using the word flame vs fire
