- So I’m pretty sure by the end of this video you guys probably already know how I feel about these two action figures. It’s not rocket science. More than likely you guys already know which of these that I like better, but that being said there are good qualities about both of them. Both of them are very nice figures and I do have to say that in terms of the looks Buzzmod AND Figma absolutely killed it. Both of them have a really nice fun factor to them even though there are some issues that I mentioned in the video. As a fan of demon slayer, I had to have both of them. There wasn’t any room for me to debate because of how much I enjoy the series. That being said, I know that many people are only going to stick with one of them which is exactly why I made this video. Hopefully by the end of it, it will help you make your decision on which of these you would rather get your hands on. That being said, this is my comparison video and I hope that you guys enjoyed it. My issue with later figma figures is that they keep raising the price while the quality did not improve that much. It's like they are raising because other toys company also make toys pricy. Old figma comes with lots of accessories with only 60 or 70$ while now, all new figures are more than 100$.
Yeah used to collect lots of figmas but lately doesn’t feel worth it tbh
For pretty much every character announced in both lines Figma has better face sculpts and more accessories with each release but Buzzmod outdoes Figma in every other regard.
What about akaza buzzmod ?

I finally got my figma Nezuko today, and I have to say... that I really understand what you mean in the video by her mid section + hip area is frustrating and I have to agree. It's manageable though, but considering I have both the DX Tanjiro & Nezuko now, I reaaalllly like them together + all their dope accessories!

Im amaze with people saying that the figma look better, like for real i get it on tanjiro, but buzzmod looks straight out of the anime, the joints and the lack of paint on the pattern makes the figma look not that good

I’m a little biased to the Figma because the aesthetic is really important to me. However, I definitely understand why someone would prefer the Buzzmod. The over-engineering and posing difficulty are pretty disappointing

Buzzmod easily, the figma looks better but that's all it has going for it imo. Both figures are good either way tho.

I got good Figma deals! I live in Oregon, so no sales tax, but anyways: $105 dollars, including shipping, for Tanjiro and $70, including shipping, on Nezuko. It pays to be a member in places. I pay once a year and get really good deals for the rest of the year. So worth it!
For articulation, buzzmod is better since it's more simple but for aesthetic and accuracy, figma is the way to go. The price point of figma is still fair enough considering the quality that we are paying for.
Man! I was so excited to get my figma Nezuko but that half sculpted waist bothers me a whole lot.
I'd say the same thing, but honestly, I bought her because she came with her box and I don't want Tanjiro to be without his sister. It only makes sense to me, but I'm more of a Tanjiro fan, so I'm more excited to get him anyways. While seeing this review of Figma Nezuko makes me a bit disappointed with the figure, I bought her on a sale discount price, I bought her to go with her brother, and she comes with very nice accessories, so I still look forward to receiving her. These two characters will be the first Figmas I've ever gotten, so I hope I made a good decision, still. I'm more of a Nendoroid and doll collector, so this was a difficult decision for me. I'm watching reviews to reaffirm my decision, and Tanjiro seems to be amazing, but reviews like this make me a bit leery about Nezuko. I hope I like her. 🤞🏻

I like the more accessories on the figma but I prefer how the other one looks it also has nicer details on the outfit.

The face and hair of figma is better while the body of buzzmod is better

the only thing i hate about the buzzmods are the proprtions and how different they look or how low quality they look
I feel like the Buzzmod nezuko is definitely the better figure but the figma has way better accessories. If I had to get one to match my figma tanjiro it would be the buzzmod but I hate the fact that I won't be getting the box backpack

I went with figma but I can tell buzzmod is better for the the more solid feel.
Buzzmod is definitely more solid and more fun to handle. Caved in and got the buzzmod Tanjiro after getting the figma one. The figma definitely has a better anime aesthetic and more range of motion, but I found myself getting frustrated when posing it because of the over engineering. Buzzmod Tanjiro despite the qc issue of the legs falling off easily, was way more fun to pose imo and the cloth jacket looks great in dynamic poses and makes the figure look less jointy.
Since figma is running cheaper especially if you get non dx, I went all in on figma with my only dx being zenitsu. However I'm considering maybe selling off figma nezuko for buzzmod, especially after seeing the size comparison. Also going buzzmod for rengoku and akaza, the figma versions just ain't working this time haha only plus is the figma rengoku has the battle damaged face.
@@variablex I actually like the figma tanjiro way better overall. But I completely agree with you on Nezuko. I actually bought the buzzmod and swapped the head with the figma. She is 100x better
I’d suggest swapping the figma head sculpt to a 1/12 figma nude body. Then buying the 1/12 nezuko kimono outfit. Removing the head, hands, and legs from the figma. That way you get full articulation eliminating the annoying body.
(Edit) not recommending anyone to modify and or customize your figures. They can get a little pricey and mess ups could cost you a few hundreds.

Lol, when you first were talking about the Nezuko Figma's packaging and were sliding the cover off, my brain told me Nezuko should be there, so not seeing her not only surprised me, but when you said, "Sliding it off, you get..." I was like, "ripped off. You get ripped off. Empty packaging." I was half expecting a "Where'd the figure go? Did someone steal her?" etc. It took my brain a bit to adjust and realize, "He already opened it, dummy!" After that I just felt so stupid, but hey, I got a laugh out of it, so thank you. 😆 Ta da! It's magic! Or a mystery case of the missing Nezuko
Buzzmod is the best really want them to keep it up on making more demon slayer action figures
