I think i saw this on the Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki Discord server mentioned somewhere. But the reason for the 500 speed limit is in how Hypixel modifies the player speed. Hypixel modifies the players speed attribute which has a max value of 500. The only way to circumvent that is with using the effect instead of that attribute or both (use the attribute to 500 and then add a speed effect for the additional boost)
