In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864 These materials are also available via channel membership on TH-cam: www.youtube.com/@BarnevognverkstedNo/membership , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerworkshop
The Metro+ has a standing fold, but on it’s side (it is even in the documentation). You have to rotate it, but it is easy to do so as the chassis has a comfy curve you can grab. I am 5’11’ and dad is well above 6’ and while the max. height of the handle is about the same as a yoyo, the rear axel is way more up and forward than the yoyo. I can’t walk behind a yoyo, but with the ergobaby I can hurry with huge steps and still don’t kick the stroller. Also, setting the handle shorter is very convenient, when on a crowded city bus. I tried the yoyo2 and the ergobaby on the very same surface (cobblestones and dirtroad) after each other and the ergobaby was a way smoother ride and easier steering.
I heard that you have to remove the seat fabrics with a screwdriver in order to use the stroller with a car seat. I don't know for which versions of this stroller that is the case. But I do think that is a clear downside and also something I would like to know before I purchase it.
Thank you for this video, this was helpful. Can you review the Kinderkraft Apino? It's supposed to be similiar to the Kinderkraft Nubi 2 but is even cheaper than the Nubi 2
Thank you for your videos i got the Metro + based on your videos and love it (you are right a little heavy) I am wondering if you can help me, there seems to be 2 plastic plates inside the footrest and i can feel there are snap buttons, I think mine may have become undo during our travels now the footrest has lost it's support. I can feel there are 2 snap buttons on the button and 1 snap button on the top of each plastic plates but i cannot seem to fit them together again or find any information about them. HELP!
Hi! I hope you can answer because I’m stuck.. I bought an Uppababy Cruz off marketplace and later realized that the foot rest doesn’t lock in the positions it’s supposed to (the buttons for the foot rest are pushed in and won’t come out). The seller said it had no issues and it was a quick transaction. I was wondering if you could show how to take it apart and fix it? Thank you. 🙂
The first thing I would try is spray lubricant (like wd40) with the straw attachment. You'll want to remove the textiles first. If this doesn't work, then there may be components that need replacing (or at least sanding in the case of warped plastic). :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo It didn’t work, it actually became worse. It is just continuously turning and doesn’t stay still. It has no cracks anywhere to indicate it’s an exterior issue. How do I open the parts of the seat?
