It is a documented fact that Trump needs to have complete control over what is around him. Michael Cohen has said that nothing happens without Donald's approval. My guess is that every stolen document has his his signature on it or has some direct reference to him and that he knows exactly where each document is. Sociopaths need overt proof of their importance and ability to control every second of the day and these documents would have been checked regularly by him and losing them would be catastrophic for him' a lot like losing a lover..

As someone who had a security clearance while in the Marine Corps the handling of classified materials is no joke.
Little donnie, while he did occupy the white house, falls under the rules just as everyone.
Those documents, especially Top Secret and SCI (the highest classification) are only to be read and handled in a secure area.
So for him to have those documents in his possession, required someone to physically remove them and pack them in those boxes. It's not something that is just laying around on the coffee table.

A question of equal importance - *who got the TS/SCI documents for Fat Donnie to take to Florida?* They can ONLY be viewed in specific secure rooms. He's not smart enough to know how to print them out even if he was able to access them from someplace such as the Situation Room (a known SCIF within the WH.) There IS at least one other co-conspirator involved in this as well - likely more than one.
There are very few people with the level of security clearance required to view TS/SCI docs. The person has to sign their name for EACH TS/SCI document to be viewed. I wonder if were going to find out the logs of anyone who accessed these particular docs has been purged like Secret Service/Homeland Security/DOD?
