It tore my heart out to hear the girl ask her mother which picture would she use?? I have a friend who was shopping for a Kevlar lining for her daughter's backpack after Ulvade. The Congress members voting to NOT protect our children and citizens going about their daily lives should be charged with Crimes Against Humanity.

While Swalwell was talking directly to Jordan about putting these children into the ground, one in a Superman casket, Jordan couldn't even be respectful of these children enough to not stop talking to his female aide showing him something on a cellphone. So, I don't expect him to care about stopping the next school shooting. I guess the GOP won't care until shooters show up in the private schools of their children and their big donors.

I had to pause and take a moment to collect myself after Swalwell quoted the mother's kid about a picture. Damn near burst into tears right there. I was in junior high school when Columbine happened, and I remember a classmate stating that if she's already dead that others have permission to use her body as a shield. These sort of things should NEVER come out of a child's mouth, much less cross their minds. What a waking nightmare.
