Yes they are always sold out. I subscribed to the 'In Stock' notifications and as soon as I received the email I had ordered one 3 hours later from the email receipt time.
@@SimonPilling Hey Simon, oh wow thanks for the information, I should have waited. That PSU mount sounds interesting, I will keep a look out for it. Thanks again!
Thanks for putting a DAC cable between UDM and USW. Biggest upgrade. And did you notice that a U-space are always specific holes? You left a ⅓U between the devices. You might want to align your devices some time.
Hi, thanks for the comment re DAC cable. I have always left my devices with 1 hole space between devices to allow extra air flow, it's just a personal preference I think. I personally prefer spaces betwen and I'm not keen on devices being squashed together. But I appreciate your comment/feedback.
@@MrTimTech2022 You have seen that you have two bigger spaces betweent the holes and then a small space between holes? You suppose to align them correctly. And some devices cool better when stacked together. Internal fans will pull the air through it and the air in that 1-hole space that you keep between it will contain still standing air. No extra cooling there. Lot's of people think that way, but it's a misconception. Thanks again for the DAC.
@@petervandebeek5980 I spotted that the space between UNVR and PDU has 2 slots, that's now been changed (PDU moved up 1), so thanks for spotting that. I know there's a gap at the top between UDM SE and shelf but there's a reason for that - future videos. I see what you're saying about the cooling and spaces between or no spaces between. One day I will test with/without spaces and see what temp readings I get. Thanks for the info though, appreciated !
i was able to get it the reverse with the black on bottom silver on top. not sure if orientation matters or not. also the brick is bigger on the poe varient
Hey @phgamer4393 - Thank you for your comment. Never thought of reversing it upside down to be honest, in fact I bet it looks a bit more 'classy' with the silver top. Thanks for the info on the POE version, I did wonder to be honest as the space in the rackmount kit does look as if it will take a larger power brick, so thanks for that info. Hope you're liking my channel. More and more videos to come, including UniFi.
Ok, so it's actually the wireless mic kit you're using, so you'll want to change what you're doing with the mic, but still, this is fixable in your editor.
@@capnjackcanon I agree the audio isn't the best when I use my Rode Wireless Go II. I might invest in a new one. Audio seems better with my Rode Video Mic II which I use when recording videos on the PC screen. Maybe I'm generating static! No seriously I do agree the audio can be improved and I'm on the case, hopefully you can bare with me for a while as it will be resolved. Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it when it's constructive.😄 I've just remembered I did have the air con running when I filmed this and it could be the background hum from that or interference from it. Like I say I will look in to it for sure!
What a guddle for a box of fresh air & some coloured lights.
Well that's your opinion, it depends on a personal preference I think and how much of a geek one is. Thanks for your comment anyway.
I have also 2 of them since 2 weeks , they are great , the only problem , the mount module are sold out all the time

Broadbandbuyer have a "ears" kit for them alot cheaper. I hear they have a alternative solution that will hold the psu tbc soon.

hey brother, you need to ground something. The hum is painful in this video. There are ways to get rid of this in final cut, resolve, and premier.

I bet it has more to do with the 3.5mm cable not being plugged in all the way.
@@vng-alien The cable is plugged in all the way, I did check that each time I am recording.
