Thank you, the spring was the problem on my saeco intuita that was giving 4 blinking red lights when trying to brew. The brushes had worn down on the grinder motor and one of the springs was not touching. Adjusted it slightly and it's good as new
your knowledge is very impressive!!! I came across this machine in a thrift store for only $5!! thankfully it works and coincidentally I bought my boyfriend the philips machine you also have as a gift so it’s great to know that we can use your channel in case we need the info someday!!
This is the best video on how to examine the motor. I examined mine and it had the same problem. The fix was simple and worked like a charm. Now I need to return the motor I ordered sadly before seeing this video. Thank you for this information. I did examine the springs previously but did not see the gap.
Maciej, do you know if in the brew unit device, if the container with the ground coffee should completely go above the large rubber ring on the bottom of the filtering device? I have geased up that large red O-ring but the container would only go up if I use a lot of force. Perhaps it should just touch the bottom of the O-ring to make a seal. Please confirm. @@MaciejPiotrowski
Nice. Thank you for posting this. The grinder motor in my Taleo Giro Plus stopped working a few weeks ago after 10 years of solid service. Given that I can't hear the motor making any effort at all, I'm hoping it's this or a the grinder sensor unplugging itself. Will find out tomorrow once I get my torx set.
thanks for the video! My grinder works but it only grinds for about 3.5 seconds (which is about half of yours) - is there a way to adjust the bean grinding volume? The pucks are half the size they should be so it needs more beans ground. The casing of the grinder is clean so it is functioning fine. Please let me know if you have any tips!
look at manual. it sounds like the time of grinding got changed. Ive never had this problem so I dont know how to fix it but there may be a way to re adjust griding time. Hope this helps
Thanks for the insights. I just acquired one of these machines and am trying to get it up and running. Any chance you have a digital copy of the manual for this machine?
Thanks, you are a helpful and kind person :)
Happy to help!
