Repairing a Saeco Odea Go losing water at the brew unit

- The video shows the repair of a Saeco Odea Go. When making a coffee, the machine is losing water in the drip tray and the ground is too ground. The video demonstrates how to clean the brewing unit thoroughly and how to replace the gasket at the piston and the nozzle.

Thank you so much! My husband said lets just buy a new machine - it's had its day - but I had to try repairing it myself! My coffee pucks were so wet and we were only getting half cups of coffee. I just needed to replace the O ring and I gave it a good clean. You saved us a lot of money and we are enjoying good coffee again!
Vielen Dank für das Video. Unsere 11 Jahre alte Saeco Odea ist nun wieder dicht und darf die Arbeit wieder aufnehmen. Bis jetzt war in all den Jahren nur ein Überdruckventil defekt (war aus Plastik - Fehlkonstruktion) und wurde durch eins aus Metall ersetzt (Kosten 10€) und jetzt die Dichtungen (Set 10€). Eine Maschine, die sich armortisiert hat. Den Trick mit den selbstschneidenden Schrauben (erst linksrum Gewinde suchen) kannte ich noch nicht: genial.

Thank you so much for this revealing video, especially the ball bearing part helped me solve the issue... One useful tip I can give you for cleaning the metal sieve: spray some BBQ cleaner on it, let it do its work for 10 minutes and you'll be amazed how much dirt can get on such a small part when rubbing it with kitchen paper. Then rinse under the water tap and finish meanwhile using an old toothbrush. It will be brand new!!!!

Спасибо. Могу дать совет: чтобы не чистить палочками для ушей паз для кольца, эту деталь можно элементарно снять. Сначала откручиваем два винта и снимаем носик выдачи кофе с шарикровым клапаном, она самая верхняя. И потом снимаем саму деталь, на которой большое кольцо. Она крепится на 4 фиксаторах (два на левой стенке, две на правой). Нажать на фиксаторы и сдвинуть ее вниз. Все.

Thank you. I can give an advice: in order not to clean the groove for the ring with the ear sticks, this part can be easily removed. First, unscrew the two screws and remove the coffee dispensing spout with a ball valve, it is the top one. And then we remove the part itself, on which there is a large ring. It is attached with 4 clips (two on the left side, two on the right). Press down on the latches and slide it down. Everything.

Great video but this didn’t worm for me I also did the support valve clean. Still losing water and dispense is only drops any other tips please ?

Hallo, tolles Video,habe eine Saeco Talea geschenkt bekommen,auch sie verliert Wasser,Reinigung und wechsel der Dichtung haben nichts gebracht, habe festgestellt selbst bei der Spülung ,landet Wasser im Trester ,ist das normal, was kann noch die Ursache sein? wäre dankbar für eine Antwort. Hello Sir. Much thanks for making this instructions. I have a diffrent problem with water dripping inside the unit. As you open a unit there is small little pipe just below ON/OFF button it got snapped and the water its just all over the place. Is that little part is changeable?
Normally yes, it is. About any piece can be changed in this machine.
Great video, thank you. I do have a question when following your video i did not find a spring and a ball. In the valve there is also no spring. Is this because i have a Talleo Ring.and not an Odea?

Gutes Video, Ich habe genau bei dieser Maschine daß Problem, daß die Dampf-LED dauerhaft
leutet und die Brühgruppe nicht in der Grundstellung stehenbleibt (Zeiger auf 3 Uhr) sondern
etwa in der Stellung 10 Uhr und man kann sie auch nicht herausnehmen. Dampf ablassen
funktioniert auch nicht, es kommt nur ein bißchen lauwarmes Wasser. Kaffee läßt sich natürlich garnicht herstellen. Wie bekommt man die Dampf-LED ohne großes Zerlegen der Maschine wieder aus. Vllt. kann mir ja einer helfen.

İch habe saeco talea touch da ist so ein fehle zuerst kommt reinigungs zyklus dan wassersystem entlüften ich drehe dampfdrehknopf es rütelt aber am ende kommt wieder reinigungs zyklus
das sieb von der brühgruppe kann man mit (scheuer-milch) Perfekt sauber bekommen weil auspusten mit Druckluft habe ich auch versucht aber bringt mur was bei leichter Verschmutzung
weil meine Brühgruppen sind meistens sehr schwarz und da hilft meinerseits nur unsere Scheuermilch mit Zahnbürste weil dann glänzt das wieder

Hallo. Bitte O-Ring Maße in Millimetern. Erforderlich für Ersatz in der Maschine.
Bei meiner Saeco Accanto Novo ist die Reihenfolge nicht richtig. Bei drücken von dem Kaffeeknopf fängt sie an mit dem 2 fachen klacken. dann fängt gleichzeitig das Brühen und das Mahlwerk an,
Ich bekomme also erst bei der 2. Tasse den frisch gemahlenen Kaffee. Wie läßt sich das wieder zurückstellen.

Joe BERGER das Vormahlen ist eingestellt (für Feste um Zeit zu sparen) zurücksetzen laut Bedienungsanleitung ev. siehe Saeco Incanto Bedienungsanleitung im Internet, bei dieser kenn ich mich aus da musste be Tastenkombination drücken und dann einschalten. Wenns das Problem noch gibt, einfach melden!
man baut die BG auseinander und zieht den Stössel ab.
Dann unteren Kolben raus - dort sitzt immer viel Dreck.
Das hast Du komplett übersehen.
Viel Einfacher - und viel gründlicher.
Dein video ist ja nett gemeint, aber für Saeco gibt es schon 100 Bilderanleitungen die besser sind als deine.

Zum Saubermachen eignen sich übrigens nicht nur die Ohrenstäbchen. Ich verwende da gerne kleine Pinsel - damit kommt man in jede Ritze.
Ich verwende dazu gerne die Emaillackpinsel (10 und 14mm breit) von Engelbert-Strauss

Anyone has a link for the O ring set for this repair (leaking water in degrader tank). I do havea German address available as well; just need an adress of of those specialized parts sorres for cfee machines like the Saeco Magic Comfort. I Love my machine; working since 2004 with only a water pump change in 2012, and regular services of course. The shop doing this work went out of business (located vicinity Taunusstein (Wiesbaden) Germany), unfortunately. Any help? Also, I keep getting Degrader full message even though there is nothing inside...

Vielleicht hat von Euch Jemand einen Tipp. Seit dem letzten Einschalten blinken die Meldungen Entkalkung und Satzbehälter leeren wechselseitig. Das Gerät startet keinen Kontrolldurchlauf. Ich habe schon alle möglichen Komponenten herausgenommen und wieder eingesetzt.

Hallo :) Bei mir besteht folgendes Problem: Der Kaffeeauslauf (Verbindung zwischen Brühgruppe und Maschine bzw. Kaffeeauslauf) ist seitens der Maschine abgebrochen :( Da ich gerade eine Umschulung zum Erzieher mache, verfüge ich leider nur über beschränkte finanzielle Mittel und suche dringend Hilfe, was das Problem mit der Maschine angeht.
