Love the plane, Have you done anything to mitigate carb icing and fabricating a cowling?

Yes you bet, I made a shroud at the bottom of the exhaust that will collect warm air around the exhaust and direct it into the carburetor by a push/pull cable to protect from carb icing. And as for a cowling, it can be done but I prefer the looks of seeing the radial. Thanks for reaching out.

I have a vr3 tubing kit for a widebody cub and a set of javron wings collecting dust. Sad to hear about Sam, I was trying to keep up with his progress on the apex cub and didn't realize why the project went dark 😔
