- We went to the Warbird museum in Titusville last Saturday to get out of the house. We saw this plane and signed up for (and paid for) a 20 minute ride. I had my vid camera but not my audio recorder so I'm not happy with the sound quality. The plane had a GoPro mounted as well which ran out of memory when we did the fly by. I also filmed the flight after us to get external shots. The plane celebrated its 70th birthday on this day. The company is based out of Merritt Island, Fl. I've gone for scenic biplane rides a few times and loved it everytime. The last time my wife and I went up in a Waco was at Nags Head, NC.manuevers. I was surprised that my wife enjoyed it and didn't get air sick at all. I made it clear to the pilot that I was a pilot also and that my wife did not appreciate aerobatics - no wing overs, no lazy eights, no steep banking turns - okay? He said he got it, but he thought he saw me wink at him. Then he proceeded to do every one. She loved it.
Last summer I was fortunate enough to fly for FloridaBiplanes. What a blast to fly!
