- Casio F84W might be my new favourite. Sadly it's made for Japanese market and not that easy to get one here in Europe. Nato strap looks great thanks to lugs that stick out of the case and blends in nicely with the strap unlike Casio F91W. This time, rather than modifying display myself I used the one that comes with inverted display A168. Simple mod and that's the result. Thanks for watching.

A nice minimalist watch.. I bought an f84w few months back and at first I thought it was too small, then I developed my taste in watches. I started to appreciate smaller vintage watches. This f84w being jdm and slimmer than the f91w makes it unique and elegant.

I got an F84W about a year ago. I actually prefer it over my F91W because it feels so much slimmer. Keep up the great work.

I'm not usually a fan of digital watches on Nato straps but this one really works nicely since the case is so small. The inverted display and all black strap really come together nicely as well.
Yes. Other casio watches don't really go well with nato straps.

I have one with a golden background, I bought it in 2003. Amazingly, I only changed the battery once!!! The bracelet already changed about 2x… I like d+ this model. I use it daily and on all occasions… I use it to wash the car, in the pool, sea water etc… It has never broken… I noticed that only the buttons are corroded… I already used sandpaper with polishing paste on the display… they had scratches… I'll see if I can buy a natural bracelet for him.

Looks class. I think the nato strap lies better on the f84 compared to the f91 due to the exposed lugs. Is the a158 similar?

You were right, it does look better than F91W on nato.
I really like the stealth look, do you think it would be possible to remove that blue outline (but leave text, unlike your "clean face" mod)?

you also could have peel off the old polarized film and replace it with another film, cut in a different angle

You didn't invert it. You just replaced it.
What tool did you use to get the strap pins out?
I usually use whatever is small enough to go in there.
