I started watching your videos back in Darkmoon Faire with your highlander Demon Hunter deck, and its been one of the most fun decks I've ever played. Super excited to see it back in a new and refreshing light!
It is so sad how weak Kultrus is. It's literally Patchwork sidegrade (cheaper but less consistent and no immediate tempo since it doesn't effect board) and you need a highlander for that lmfao. I hope they buff his dmg to 16 or something so he has a higher chance of deleting multiple cards or killing a big target.
Reno DH's biggest problem is probably that they just don't have the card pool to support a slower, higher-variance game-plan. They don't have a 1-card game-ender like Sif, the sustain of Blood DK, the explosive tempo plays of Druid, or the wide array of board control tools of Shaman. I'm pretty sure if Kurtrus was in any other Reno class, he'd feel pretty oppressive, even as-is.
Yeah it’s so useless against so many decks, but they don’t want it to be too strong in specific scenarios. It sounds totally different but it’s actually a similar philosophy as to why greater arcane missiles for example is so overcosted, because it could be a pyroblast to face for 7. However in so many scenarios it’s just totally underpowered, that’s kurtrus
@@ScherFire Reno Hunter has this same problem but at least their highlander reward is a 4 mana 3 damage boardwipe that also hits face to stabilize against early aggression. Kurtrus just doesn't do anything.
I think only leaving single space for the opponent with Reno is too strong. Maybe they should make it so you can play 2 minions? That kinda goes against the flavor though. I think realistically they might change it to 9 mana
@@MrTheBigNoze Yeah, with all the whining you would think that Reno is dominating the metagame and oppressing every other deck, but it's not doing anything of the sort. Those people are just salty that there's a counter to their deck archetype so they want it to get "fixed" so they can play solitaire again.
It’s not something like curses in which the right curve destroys you, or Sif in which you die despite constantly gaining board advantage. You just have to put attention to your opponents cards and you’ll see a Reno coming. A lot of decks have a good match up against highlander too it’s not like Paladin levels of unfun to go against.
Not at all how I would characterize this game- I think he maybe missed 2 points of face damage and the chance to give his minion +1 health to protect it from hero power? And both instances were turns with pretty complicated sequencing.
1. he still won so who really cares. 2. like scherfire said they are such insignificant mistakes I'm not sure why you are so focused on them. 3. why not point out how skilled kibler is in finding juuuust enough healing to stay alive until he found a way to stabilize? I know it's the internet, but I promise your mood will rise if you focus on positive things instead of wallowing in the negative.
That comeback was unbelievable.

An actual great game to watch!
One of the most fun decks I've ever seen/played! Great match.
Enchanter + Kurtrus = 6 damage shots to hand! And Argus + Kurtrus = lifesteal shots!
Sweet, I was feeling warrior fatigue
Perfect video for lunch
Riding the Glaives edge for sure.
10:06 So true, Reno. Lol

No link for deck? 😢
I went to look for it and was like, "oh, maybe that's a subtle way of saying, "Don't make this deck." 🤣
Thats so intense game😂
Deck list?
bro where is the deck code T_T
39 damage by Mograine in total (13 turns). What a broken card

It’s not really OP, highlander decks need a super strong payoff to be worth it. Otherwise why would you play them

that game was insane mate! keep up with the good stuff!
weird as life
I cannot believe what a terribly unfun card Ranger Reno is.

This game was just mistake after mistake
