    I love the way... Chef pronounced bhaja "moshla".... Most people spell it masala.... Loved the bengali accent from a punjabi guy💕

    Yess chef, here at Laxmi Nagar metro station in Delhi, a street vendor sells jhalmuri, he not only just uses pickle oil but the mango pickle also and it tastes just awesome. Thankyou for the good recipe🙏 Love from Delhi.

    Hello YFL family, this is indeed a nice recipe. Just a suggestion for the "bhaja moshla"- it can be made with 3 masalas also jeera, dhaniya and 1- 2 dry red chilli the process is same and green chilly paste can be substituted by finely chopped green chilly. This will reduce the amount of moisture in the dish and keep the muri Crisp for a little longer.
    I really appreciate the effort and research that goes into each recipe. By far my fav is - "Kolhapuri misal". Thanks for sharing these recipes with us.

    You have presented exactly the original receipe 😀❤️ but you have used chana zor garam namkeen but we instead use some spicy kind of namkeen like navaratan. Other then all ingredient are same. Thanks chef for making this video 😊

    Loved the way you pronounced bhaja ‘moshla’..spot on! 😊
    And loved the recipe. Am a Bengali from Kolkata and have grown up eating this.
    Just one thing - one main ingredient of bhaja moshla is also dry red chilies, which you missed.
    And the way I know, in my family, it’s always jeera and red dry chili, dry roasted and then powdered. This is also sprinkled over mixed vegetables and bengali chutneys.

    The recipe is so good, although I'm not bengali, but I've tried jhal muri many times and it's one of my favourite dishes, I got so many secrets to make it more tasty, but some ingredients like kachchi Keri and peanuts were also used in this recipe, I guess it can increase the taste, but thanks alot

    Chef you get the best food from all the states and show it most autentically and with a lot of research which goes into aking it ,comendable job ,being born and brought up in kolkata and relocated resently ,i miss Jhalmuri a lot it is y soul food ,simply amazing ,nothing copares to it ,it is somewhat like a complete food.     Add tez patta and sukhi laal mirch in your bhaja moshla..its very necessary.
    Second thing in Kolkata masala muri is sattu paste of red color.. nothing but it adds the binding in the moori..
    Add water in sattu powder and make it a very vet dough.. this will add to its taste. Cheers!

    Very well made Chef Sanjyot, you made made sure that all the key ingredients are covered. Yes cucumber is a very important ingredient, it works like a palette cleanser and cooler while munching on this spicy snack. One ingredient that you can add is a few dry red chilies while making the " Bhaja Moshla" Great Stuff !! My mouth has starting to water, gotta make this today.

    Mexico has a similar based idea street food called "esquites" they use corn as the base, this looks delicous and I hope to try it one day, at the least with this recipe I can try to make it one day. Thank you for sharing

    I spent my childhood in Bengal. I remember the Jhalamuri guy on the train. He would carry a whole contraption on his neck with straps. He had all the various condiments in small tin containers attached to a big steel container full of Muri(puffed rice)
    He inevitably had a bottle of mustard oil with a hole on the cap. He mixed all the garnishes and added mustard oil . Then with flourish put a piece of coconut on top. Voila!!! tasty mouthwatering jhalmuri is ready.

    Sanjyot bete🙋🙋🌹🌹nice recipe. Chanachur doosra h kolkata mei. Jb main college me thee chanachur puchka se banta h. Usko choora krke potato ke saath tamarind and chole sabko mash krte h masala k saath. It's just 😋 yum. Thats my fav. Jhal moori too my fav. Mango dalta h sometimes. Peanuts bhi. 🙆🌹
