Billy was an honorary fifth Beatle during the Get Back sessions, (and what a difference he made) whereas George Martin was the 5th Beatle. Not many had that privilege.
Billy was definitely the 5t Beatle + saved the band in their last 2 lps 🎶 I saw him at The Bangladesh Concert + George's Dark Horse Tour. He was a spark at both those performances 💯 like he was in all the songs mentioned 👏 I got to meet + hang out with him when he was the Band Leader for the Late Night Talk Show at NBC TV Studio's "The David Brenner Show" 🎬 He was truly a great guy 🙏🎶🩷 Rocklove! Preston was a valuable addition who helped complete the Beatles sound for Let It Be.

I always thought 'That's the way god planned it' was a strange song for the Concert for Bangladesh.
Billy Preston offered Nothing to the Beatles but when you take Nothing From Nothing it leaves you with SOMETHING.
Underrated comment!
huh
You mean, "The Bee-Gees and Peter Frampton".
So, add George Martin and Billy Preston and there were actually six beatles.
I'm sure the religious bent he was on didn't help him to become more popular.
Yoko One always hovering around like a bad odor. ugh
Yeah a smelly fart kind of odor.
